Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 18th June)

Data collected over the last four season show a total of 27 Old Trafford fans were locked up for racist behaviour. Alarmingly, Leeds (along with Millwall) were joint second with 15 arrests. I'm actually surprised it's so few. 15 out of more than 30k average over 4 seasons is miniscule. I'm inclined...

Re: Concerning Transfer Policy

It's the waiting that's killing me. What Weasel said is as usual absolutely true, it's a lottery at the end of the day but we came so very close to glory last season, we were missing just one or two pieces of the puzzle and I'm going a bit barmy from all the rumour but lack of facts.

Re: Concerning Transfer Policy

I'm not seeing enough yet to feel anything one way or another, which in its own way doesn't fill me with confidence. Bielsa wanted this business squared away by the end of June to get his pre-season prep underway ASAP, and the clock is ticking away.

Re: Player Profile : Mateusz Klich

A hero from the first game, a mainstay throughout the season, tried his best for the duration and like Pablo could turn a game with a pass or a shot, if not as often. Outstanding season for the lad and if he improves further, particularly if we get more quality into midfield for him to play off, he ...

I suppose we now have Marcelo who could spot a Neves as oppose to Orta bringing in another Brown or Baker
Hey now, those two have given our medical staff valuable experience and much needed overtime!

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 13th June)

Bielsa should insist that Phillips is not for sale My first thought was "what's Bielsa's stance on this?". I cannot imagine for one minute after his vocal displeasure at having having Viera sold that Radz & Orta would take the risk of going over his head to sell Phillips. So it's either a case that...

Re: 2019/20 Transfer Rumours & Discussion Thread

Damn you all, tempering my excitement over Costa with this talk of injury. Still, he is the kind of name we should be hearing so this is encouraging, and providing he's fit sooner rather than later, Bielsa will mould him into something even better.

Derby friend put me on to this - absolutely hilarious! They really are obsessed, and they just don't get it. "Only they could be caught cheating and get knocked out the playoffs by us and still think they’ve got on over us." Yep, that's us! https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/32682-leeds-fans/#comments I hon...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 6th June)

If we did go up, I'd rather we spent money on improving facilities and building a better academy to produce at levels of Ajax, Sporting CP, Benfica etc rather than spending fortunes on bang average players. I'm pretty sure we're doing that already, wasn't that one of the main demands made by Bielsa...

Re: D Day

I find it incredibly sad when the sacrifices of the common soldier are used to glorify nationalistic pride, and to perpetuate the narratives of division. We are not the 'good guys' on the world stage, and we never have been; there is no such thing. We can certainly agree on that, but I believe the ...

Re: D Day

If only that were true; the world is still ravaged by perpetual war. Our own country inflicts untold suffering on countless innocents, in the name of what? Freedom? I don't think so. Full respect to those who served and gave their lives, but let us not use their memory to whitewash imperialism. The...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 6th June)

If Sky can't shape Leeds to their will with their ruthless propaganda then QSI won't be able to either. Folks need to rememeber a club isn't defined by shareholders or who pumps money into it - it's the fans who shape a club's culture. Leeds cannot be a plastic club, that will happen only when fans ...

If he had a decent partner on the left we'd see his best, rather than him just trying his best which no one doubts he does on a regular basis.

Keep, give him more starts alongside a good winger and judge from there.

7/10 all round.

Re: Player Profile : Kiko Casilla

I agree with both Hector and weasel. Casilla is an upgrade on BPF who MB identified as the type of keeper he wants for the system we play. For all the pant wetting that went on after the PO semi, Cooper was at fault for the horror show first goal and KP at fault when Casilla came and missed one. If...
