Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 5th December) - The writing is on the wall for Nketiah

Not too bothered about clarke, he can go back to spurs as we have similar players waiting to come in. Nketiah is a bit different, we don't have a recognised striker on the bench and if bamford gets injured which is possible then we could implode again at a critical time. Hopefuly they are, but leed...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 5th December) - The writing is on the wall for Nketiah

If two players who barely played are recalled, how can that it be a massive blow to us? No doubt we'll slip down the table without those negligible presences to add their minor influences. To be clear, I rate both Clarke and Nketiah highly but the view that we'll be much worse off losing two players...

Re: Huddersfield Town v Leeds Utd Match Thread

Can't be happy with anything but a win here if we're serious about promotion. Hopefully the mongrels will be at rock bottom mentally after that hammering and our goalscorers will be bouncing after a big win and be hungry for more. I wouldn't be surprised to see White bag one in his midfield outing.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 4th December) Alarming statistic Leeds won't want to replicate this season

Whelan and Mills need to keep up their appearances to remain relevant so they jump on every little bit of hearsay to do so. I'm not saying everything they say is pure fabrication but it doesn't take much tweaking of a few key words to cloud the truth. I don't treat 'I'm hearing whispers' or 'the wor...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 4th December) Alarming statistic Leeds won't want to replicate this season

For whatever reason we lost it mentally in games like Wigan and Derby. This was exactly it. After Wigan went down to 10 men and Bamford scored, you saw the switch flick off. Complacency and arrogance led to them being caught completely off-guard, torn a new one by Reece James and they weren't the s...

Some of you seem to be employing hindsight in it's purest form. All these things would have been a concern to a team gunning for promotion form the off but that wasn't the case when Bielsa first came in. They became incidental issues once the reality of our position and how good Bielsa made us becam...

Re: Other fans forum opinions

Let's not beat around the bush here guys, VAR would cost us a few points too if implemented, if only for the fact that even with VAR the powers that be are still capable of making wrong decisions. WB had luck on their side last night but if the shoe was on the other foot we'd be no more ready to han...

Re: Eddie Nketiah

So do we think that Eddie will be recalled by arsenal before the FA cup game? I would imagine that if he does go back, he'll play and probably score a hat trick against us. I also read that Bristol City are pulling out all the stops to try and get him there, promises of 20 virgins and being bathed ...

Re: FA Cup 3rd round draw

A big game and throwback to the good old days to be sure, but how seriously should we take this game? Were we lower in the table I'd be all for giving it a good go but when the stakes are playing at the Emirates in the league next season, to make this a big fixture among many instead having to go to...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 2nd December) Leeds rampant display widens gap for automatic promotion

I'm not too concerned about Fulham. Yes, they're a strong squad capable of battering lesser teams but they're very capable of losing to them as well. I did predict them to be a sleeping giant and can't foresee them dropping out of the playoff spots barring a really bad run of form, but I don't think...

Re: Leeds Utd v Middlesborough Match Thread - Costa replaces Roberts, Nketiah on the bench

I have it on good authority that Bielsa will put Kiko in for Phillips, and to give Nketiah some time on the pitch he will be in goal for the game against Huddersfield. It is the Bielsa way... he likes square pegs in round holes. It wins him games. You see only the small picture, Rab my man. Why pla...

Re: Today's Games

It makes me sad watching Newcastle. We've had our share of bad owners but most of them have been stupid enough to run the club so badly they've been scared or forced into selling it. Ashley is the worst kind of bad guy - one who's just about smart enough to keep on doing it, and this false hope the ...
