I believe that is well renowned Leeds fan Gary Edwards who hasn't missed a Leeds game since 1968. Nice fella, always says hello !

Love it!

There is no loyalty in football. It seems Steve Bruce has resigned as Wendies boss along with his staff to take the Newcastle job. So the Wendies who waited for Bruce to have a family holiday have just been sh*t on and their pre-season screwed up
That's almost as funny as Lampard to Chelsea.

Re: Arguing with women

I can't post pictures, but I'm thinking of that meme about arguing with idiots being like playing chess with a pigeon; it doesn't matter how good you are, it'll still s**t on the board and strut about like it won anyway.

If we're doing stereotypes, men don't know how to argue properly because they can't access or articulate their feelings. It works both ways!

The younger generation I know tend to go back & experiment the 60's/70's era's
Yes, same here. Strange that the 'alternative' guitar bands of the 80s get overlooked.

It's strange that they don't seem to have a new generation of fans, which maybe adds to the sense that they haven't aged well. I never hear the younger generation mention them.... or Dire Straits or U2 for that matter.

Re: Album Club Review - R.E.M. 'Out Of Time' & Supertramp 'Crime Of The Century' REVIEWS PLEASE

This has inspired me to revisit REM for the first time in years, and rediscover what I loved about them in the first place. Murmur and Reckoning are still their best records imo, possibly followed by Document. I think I decided a while ago that they hadn't aged well, probably because they lost me as...

I doubt it would make the top three

Ziggy would win it with Exile On Main St, Roxy Music debut, Can't Buy A Thrill, Transformer, Pink Moon, Harvest, Talking Book, Sabbath Vol 4, Close To The Edge, Machine Head, Foxtrot, Thick As A Brick & more all gathering votes
What a fantastic year 1972 was!

Re: Shining Light?

I'm very excited to see what Costa brings to the system. I also have a sneaky feeling the shining light might turn out to be Bamford. If confident and fully fit, he's capable of being pretty deadly. Take the point that it's the whole team though, and if Bielsa's tweaks get more WBA type performances...

Do I detect the poor scores allocated to the Delines album is down to their country feel, mellow vocals & no crashing guitars? Not from me. Already a fan of Willy Vlautin, and regularly listen to the Be Good Tanyas, Frazey Ford, Po Girl, Honeycutters, Gillian Welch, etc. On paper, I'm prime recruit...

Good morning!

With Pontus reportedly training at Malmo, are we going to be relying on Ben White to step up? Who will partner him, Berardi or Cooper?

Hi Sara

Best of both worlds only if we arent losing too big a slice of the transfer fee on loan fees and his 20k weekly wage.
Hi Ian, do we know what the loan fees are? Would you prefer to simply sell him without the loan?

Supertramp - Crime Of The Century Supertramp are one of those bands that I quite like if I hear on the radio, but not enough to consider buying an album. Listening to this confirms that view; there is some good songwriting, but I can only take the squeaky vocal and tinkling piano for so long. :star:...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 2nd July)

Best of both worlds, with Clarke, for us, I think. If he progresses on from his better displays last season then he hopefully makes a contribution towards promotion, so we get that and the money. If not, then we did well to sell him for that price. Looking forward to seeing what this new defender la...
