Re: Barnsley v Leeds Utd Match Thread

For the first time in a long time I have a feeling Bielsa make a change or two for this game. I think either Costa or Nketiah will start but not both. I think Alioski will keep his place. The bench is likely to be the same unless someone is dropped and he decides to include Roberts on it (way too so...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 5th Sept) - Trio of Championship clubs face FFP misery

Morning All, I agree with Ian on this. Yes, it could be considered fraud but they will almost certainly consulted some very clever lawyers / accountants prior to exploiting the loophole and consider they have done nothing wrong. They will no doubt get away with it and the loophole will be closed to ...

Re: Offensive and Defensive

All fine margins. Forest we dominated, we led, we never looked troubled at the back. Nothing wrong with the performance and as such then there was nothing wrong with the team selection. We score a second or don't concede and everyone would have said what a great performance. Swansea we dominated. S...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wed 4th Sept) - Gary Neville's warning to Bielsa

Morning All, I definitely think Costa should be starting now and unfortunately I think should be at Pablo's expense unless he is moved to the left and Harrison is dropped. There's no denying Pablo's qualities but Costa can unlock defences with his pace and skill and give the opposing full back a tor...

Re: The Road to Superbowl LIV

Looking forward to another year in the NFL. Was in Gillette Stadium Foxboro, place for the 6th championship banner was ready. Should see it hoisted this Sunday. Lucky to live in Boston area, with both Red Sox and Patriots winning last year. Hoping Bruins go one step closer and Celtics make it a fun...

Re: The Road to Superbowl LIV

I'm a big NFL fan, not in Faaip's league when it comes to stats etc but I watch it every Sunday. I'm a Patriots fan and have been since 1986, the year they got to the Superbowl and trounced by the then mighty Chicago Bears. I just started watching it that year and decided to go with the Pats and the...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 30th August) - All the latest news ahead of tomorrows top of the table clash

Morning All, I can understand Carlisle's frustration at losing Josh Galloway but it's the way of football these days. It's happened to us enough time ie Danny Rose. And Pressley admitted himself that the boy wanted to come to Leeds. I expect Liam McCarron may have had a hand in influencing his decis...

I was close to the pitch when I saw the U23's at Colchester and when he was on our side of the pitch he looked about the same height as me - 5'9"

Re: Leif Davis

Deserves his own thread This young lad could quite easily become a regular in our First XI ahead of all the kids touted on here. I'll stick with my initial comment after the Bristol City game, 'Davis defensively is better than Douglas & Alioski' Screenshot 2019-08-29 at 11.04.16.png And I stated it...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 29th Aug) - Is it Nketiah time yet?

Morning All Interesting comments from Michael Bridges. If the players were worried about burn out last season I wonder if Liam Cooper,as captain, expressed their concerns? As long as players are rested when their form dips so that others are given a chance then I don't see it being a problem this se...

Re: Leeds v Stoke - MAN OF THE MATCH (6 best players)

You're not the first person on here Ges to say Davis is a better LB than Douglas and Alioski (me included) but Bielsa doesn't seem to see it. Douglas is our weakest link at the moment, for me.
Ali isn't the greatest defender but at least he works his nuts off.

I didn't see the game so can't justify a vote.
I notice Bogusz played a full game but didn't make your top six, 64. Did he not have a good game?

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wed 28th Aug) Post match reaction, and what next for Jack Clarke

Morning All, Credit should be given for the way the lads fought back in the second half even though it wasn't quite enough in the end. Penalties are a lottery, someone always has to be the person who misses and unfortunately for us it was Jack Harrison although his penalty wasn't a bad one. The bigg...
