Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 15th July) - Klich, FFP, Phillips and Captain Cooper

Morning All, Hopefully no more of the core of first team players will leave, only those who have zero chance of making the squad (Anita, De Bock etc). The only one I think we can do without is BPF and that's because I think Miazek is a better keeper. I still think we could do with one or two more ex...

Shame it didn’t work for him as he looked promising but I did wonder if he was good enough after he couldn’t get into the morcambe team on Loan
Couldn't get in the Morcombe team but has been signed by a Premier League club!

The word is Bielsa is refusing to take BPF, Shackleton, White, Costa, Clarke and Alioski to Australia.

He wants them to work on their fitness and routines at TA.

Thoughts?
Surprised to see Shackleton on that list. He didn't stop running last night.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 12th July)

Morning All, Last night's game was different for many reasons most of which others have covered on here. We got the win thanks to two excellent goals. Helder Costa in particular looked really good, unfortunately the same couldn't be said for Jack Clarke. It does worry me that he isn't going to hit t...

Ben Parker can barely string a coherent sentence together.
Agreed. I almost commented on that last night. The worst co-commentator I have ever heard.

Casey is a bloody tall lad!!
He's massive, a proper unit and just moving up from the U18's!
Looks comfortable on the ball though.

Wow that was an impressive first half. I know it's only York but we look really fit and sharp.
Expect to see a plethora of U23's in the second half.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wed 10th July)

I quite like Brentford as a club, you've got to admire how they have progressed as a club playing some lovely football with minimal revenue & resources at disposal I reckon the bees will make Pontus captain which elevate his confidence once again as he leads his troops into the play-offs position. ...

Morning All, Love the new kit and will definitely be buying the shirt. Waiting to see what the away kit looks like. I'm not reading anything into certain players not being in attendance at the kit launch. Why would they all need to be there? If Villa offered 20+ million for Phillips (which they won'...

Re: 2019-20 LUFC Squad

I had no idea Tom Pearce and Tyler Denton had been asked to find another club. I always thought Pearce looked decent. It just goes to show how fortunes can change for young players. Who knows, the same thing could happen to Jack Clarke if he fails to reach the standard he set when he got into the fi...

Re: Pascal Struijk

The final pre season game will give us an idea of the starting eleven for Bristol City.
Whoever starts that game will almost certainly be in the team for BC barring injury of course.
All the friendlies before that will just be about giving the whole squad game time to get their fitness levels up.

Morning All, I purposely stayed off the 'selling Pontus Jansson' thread because I was waiting to see what transpired. But one thing is for sure, I doubt any other player at the club would have generated as many posts (10 pages and counting) over the potential and then subsequent sale of one of our p...

If Clarke and Costa are bang on it with either Bamford or Roofe through the middle we could tear teams a new asshole this season.
But it's only an IF at this stage

Hardly put a foot wrong in the games he played last season.
Bench minimum but should be pushing Klich and Pablo hard for a starting spot.
Keep obviously

Re: 2019/20 Transfer Rumours & Discussion Thread

There really is very little logic here is there...maybe Spurs then should wonder why we let Clarke go. The fact is football has to keep players moving not stagnating, new managers, new plans, players coming in making players expendable, money for the club, cash flow, player wants a new challenge, p...

Re: 2019/20 Transfer Rumours & Discussion Thread

This is true, but we also created more chances than anyone else. I know economy is important because you won't always get those chances (or they don't fall yo the striker), but over the course of a season it balances. Roofe was on course for 25 goals, and Bamford's tally was good when you take into...
