Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 18th June)

Morning All, I honesty don't think they will ever stamp out racism completely in society let alone at football matches. There will always be people who use the colour of someone's skin as an excuse to shout abuse. Pathetic people with no lives. Jay-Roy Grot should be given pre season to prove his wo...

Re: Concerning Transfer Policy

It seems to me that AR is hanging his hat on a number of the U23's stepping up to the first team next season. While we all aknowledge how good some of them are, it's a bit much to expect them to cope with the rigours of a 46 game championship season after predominantly playing U23 football. We just ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 17th June)

Afternoon All, Yosuke Ideguchi should be allowed to return to Japan and try to get his career back on track. Things haven't worked out for him either here or in Spain so the best thing for all concerned is a return to his native country. It's a shame as he looked to have real promise. Liam McCarron ...

upload_2019-6-17_9-24-19.pngLet's go back 5 years to the 2013/14 season.

How many of these players would get a starting place today?
Well Charlie Taylor and Lewis Cook are both playing at a higher level, so definitely those two.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 14th June)

Morning All, I am going to start by say I HATE the close season. All the speculation about who we might be signing and who might be leaving does my head in. The sooner the season is here and we know what the squad is, good or bad, the better as far as I'm concerned. If clubs really are offering 14 m...

Re: 2019/20 Transfer Rumours & Discussion Thread

No need to look abroad or even the Premier League for quality signings. Quality championship players with an eye for goal such as Reece James, Luke Freeman and Adam Reach plus a quality center back along with the likes of Bogusz, Shackleton, Halme etc coming through and we could win the league comfo...

Dan James having medical at Man U this morning. And they're paying five times what we were going to....says it all really.
I think he'll be a star in the Premier.

Watch the Leeds fan (you'll know which one) when Leeds score!!!

Where did he end up?
Ah yes, the tumbling fan. Who could forget him? I can't believe he's never been identified, or has he?
Race for the title was a great video.

Re: Championship 19/20

Looking at that list, absolutely nothing to be fearful of.
With 2 or 3 quality signings and the emergence of some of the U23's we should be able to put the final four weeks of last season to bed and be top two no problem.

Re: 2019/20 Transfer Rumours & Discussion Thread

One player I really think we should go for is Reece James, looked an absolute beast against us on that fateful Good Friday game. He can literally play all over the park as he showed that day and financially wouldnt be a problem ; if Wigan could afford he's wages I am sure we could. Chelsea are boun...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tues 28th May)

Morning All, I'd let Casilla go. Despite him not being at fault for Derby's first goal he's not as good as I hoped he would be. You can see why no other Spanish clubs were chasing him. Fraser Forster is out of favour at Southampton, I would try and sign him. His wages may be an issue but he may be p...

Said all along I've got a horrible feeling it will be Derby. I hope I'm wrong.
Yeah i also said that in the original thread 'who will win the play offs' and I still think they're destined to go up.
I can just see Lampard's smug face now.
I definitely won't be watching.

Re: Leeds United Under-23's thread

In the one game I have seen the U23's live, Diaz was excellent, as was Miazek.
Odour looked really good as well, better than Davis if I'm honest.
But the best player on the night was Jordan Stevens. Useful back up for Pablo to give him rest time when needed I think.

Re: A Successful Season?

You've pretty much covered everything that happened last season Cjay and I honestly don't know which side I fall on. So many things were a massive improvement on the previous season yet the last four calamitous weeks make it all seem such a failure. I'd say it was both with the scales tipping slight...

A decent player at League 1 level but i doubt he has the ability or attitude for a Bielsa team.
