Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 17th Aug)

G'Mornin They shouldn't be tired, if there already tired then we have a problem. Think the way we press is important for energy levels. Press like headless chickens then they will be knackered, press intelligently and as a group its less tiring on an individual which is what we have done so far imo...

He has a clause in his contract that he can go to a Champ or Prem team for £1.5M. I don't think he is worth that. Posh fans say he is very hit and miss, and not a team player.
Morning Gandalf, wow 1.5m seems a snip, even if he is a bit hit n miss.

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 17th Aug)

I will be absolutely delighted if we get Madison, I have wanted us to get him all summer. As for the tiredness issue, I'm sure MB and his coaching team will monitor things closely and as players start to show signs of mental or physical tiredness they will be rested. Morning Chilli D, I wouldn't co...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 17th Aug)

Morning Matt, We have our 4th game coming up, no way should young fit sports men be tired, when you play the way we do, as Wenger did with Arsenal, training is all about certain fitness levels and working on systems and set plays, not running yourself into the ground in 5a side. If a player is carr...

Hi EB

Bielsa trains them very hard. Tiredness won't be a factor.

Another player linked with Leeds? Apart from Messi, Ronaldo, Salah and Modric, has anyone not been linked with Leeds?
Evening Harry, thats called keeping their options open. :)

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 17th Aug)

Good morning all, On the tired factor whilst that appears to be the case i was wondering exactly how much more energy and distance a player does than his like for like counterpart. They wear trackers so does anyone know how much further they run playing the pressing style? Morning Dalton, good poin...

Who are Bielsa's assistants? RyteotPp.jpg Pablo Quiroga - assistant Quiroga, a fellow Argentinian who was born near Buenos Aires, has been a long-time ally of Bielsa’s in club football. Having worked with him first with Chile’s national team, he was part of Bielsa’s staff at Athletic Bilbao, Marseil...

The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 17th Aug)

Good Morning Everyone Bielsa has revealed that he will stick to the same starting line up that beat Stoke and Derby. Thinking out loud, the levels of intensity that the lads have shown over the last few games will surely mean that they'll get tired more quickly? Thoughts? Leeds have been drawn at ho...

But would we be able to do a loan to buy?

Doubt it, not keen on anymore just loaning.
Foyth has a big future in front of him. Doubt Pochetino would let him go.

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 16th Aug)

Moring Ell. Agree, id have it the other way around, but those are the 3 positions i hoped we would strengthen, prefer Besic as a player but for his height Grujic would be decent. DOnt know much about Foyth but if Poch rates him thats good enough for me. Afternoon Cjay, Foyth would be our best defen...

Agreed. I thought Pontus was half decent overall but Cooper very hit and miss. OK in the air but no good if you are off the pitch after being sent off again
Morning Dalton, a few injuries in defence, and we're in trouble.
