Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 23rd May)

Hi EB et al We could always do with a striker, not sure about wanting to lose Clarke or Phillips. Haven't seen enough of Davis to comment. Will have to wait and see about Hernandez, his form certainly did drop towards the end of the season. Evening Harry, I agree with you over Clarke. I'd want a 20...

Good Morning Everyone Niall Huggins has penned his first professional football contract. The 18yo joins fellow scholar Theo Hudson who signed his one year contract earlier in the week. The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wed 22nd May)

Good Morning Everyone The YEP have revealed their 2018/19 Leeds Utd awards. Instead of telling you who they have voted for, I'm going to ask you who should collect the awards, starting with :- Young player of the season? Signing of the season? Disappointment of the season? Game of the season? Goal o...

The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 21st May)

Good Morning Everyone Manchester City have slapped a 20m price tag on 22yo Jack Harrison! According to The Sun, Leeds are desperate for the winger to join on a permanent basis! Thoughts? Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 20th May)

That's actually truly pathetic and actually imo the one least at fault is Casilla. His job is to be a sweeper keeper so he does the right thing. Berardi doesnt even challenge for the header for a start. Ayling is redundant the entire time. Cooper just has to make sure Marriott doesnt get to the bal...

He's in the right sided centre back position, with Kiko about to clear. I think his positioning is good enough for a no threat situation. You cannot defend what happened next.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 20th May)

Yeah Beradi didn't do a lot wrong, was in position and almost got back for the block...Coop's error but he clearly thinks he can get there before Casilla does which compounds the initial error. I disagree. Knowing Ayling was in position, I'd (if I was Berardi) would double up with Cooper to block M...

Berardi was virtually in the left back slot.

Any more left, and Ayling would have been off the pitch...

Both Berardi and Ayling had time to sprint and cover the goal mouth imo

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 20th May)

Watching it back Ayling and Phillips were tracking back, and were level with Cooper.

To be honest, both could have got back in a position to block on the line if they had kept running.

Not sure where Berardi was

If Cooper had cleared the ball instead of playing in the Derby striker we would be looking forward to a Wembley visit. Perhaps not a great stat.
Also shows the amount of times we must have played our way out of trouble or build an attack from defence.

Credit to Phillips.

Interestingly, we have the fewest clearances in the division. A lot of clubs have over 100 more clearances than us.

Fair play to Alioski. He always put in a shift!!!

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 20th May)

Definitely being driven out of the club . And we wonder why we never get anywhere, constantly selling our best players. Interesting. I'd put money that Saiz was driven out of the club! Getafe President had already made a statement saying they were signing a top talent until the end of the sea...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 20th May)

Morning Matt. Yeah I completely agree. How anyone thinks selling Jansson will improve us is completely delusional. He didn't even play in the playoffs yet he's become the scapegoat! The plot thickens... In the 2nd leg presser, Bielsa described Jansson as the best player in the Championship, yet dec...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 20th May)

Don't get this sell Jansson logic. Replace him with who? If he goes we need 2 CBs as Cooper has shown he isn't good enough in the big games. Morning SG90 Somebody somewhere in the LUFC hierachy does not like Jansson. You'll remember last season when he was supposed to sign for the Russian side Jans...
