Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 23rd November) Why is Junior Firpo struggling?

Bamford - One good season for us and it must be noted it was with no pressure of fans at the ground, he does a great deal of other work but I’d prefer a prolific goal scorer myself Firpo - We live in hope he’ll come good but a player who supposedly had a £200m release clause slapped on him at one st...

Re: Tyler Roberts

There are plenty of subs at plenty of clubs in the Premier League that wouldn't make the starting 11 at other clubs. Plus that test isn't applied to other Leeds players, Joe Gelhardt wouldn't start for any other Premier League club yet some Leeds fans want him starting for us. He’s not exactly a su...

Re: Tyler Roberts

For me it was a typical Roberts performance, always works hard, beats players at will, defensively good nearly every time I've seen him and much better in the air than Paddy. His worst performance of late was in relief of Raph on the wing.. Now he is every bit as good a footballer as Paddy but Padd...

Re: Next 6 Games - How Many Points

Looking back at these fixtures at the very start of the season, if we’d been offered 7 points we’d have said no, we’ll get more

Re: Is it the perfect season?

I genuinely believe Bielsa fancies his chances against everyone in this division, I think he goes out believing every game is 3 points. Certainly not a perfect season but one I’ve enjoyed more than any other in the last 15+ years because we have zero pressure to win the league and when we lose we do...

Re: Leeds Utd v Sheffield Utd Match Thread - Liam Cooper returns in place of Pascal Struijk

I was very impressed with Llorente and also how Roberts is looking increasingly better each game. I know he got the goal and assist but I felt Harrison made far too many errors in his crossing and decision making, Raphinha gave the ball away for their goal and he was sloppy at times. Dallas was my m...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 15th February) Three goals in seven minutes sinks Leeds

Ben White had a shaky 20 minutes but after that he was fine and we actually won a higher percentage of games played with him as DM than Phillips... Difference being Championship quality compared to PL quality, I’d also disagree, I thought what we lost in defence far outweighed his average performan...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 15th February) Three goals in seven minutes sinks Leeds

Morning all... 1) Rodrigo missing/injured, Huggins, Shackleton, Costa and Roberts all selected ahead of Pablo, why didn’t we let him leave in January? 2) We need a straightforward replacement for Phillips when he is missing, the shuffle does not work. 3) Meslier - I hope he learns from his mistakes ...

Re: Leeds United v Crystal Palace Match Thread - Unchanged starting XI, Joe Gelhardt makes the bench

Solid performance, Alioski scares me at LB, Cooper and Struijk are forming a decent partnership I’m scared that Raphinha might be tempted away in the summer and I hope Phillips injury isn’t too serious

Re: Leeds United v Crystal Palace Match Thread - Unchanged starting XI, Joe Gelhardt makes the bench

If I was Pablo I start walking to Spain now, if he has been dropped tonight it's a massive insult on our talisman who was massively instrumental in getting us promoted. I really hope he is injured as right now I'm fuming :x He should have started walking before the season started, I said at the sta...

Positive - It wasn’t the first match of the season or I’d assume we’re going straight back down.

Negative - It’s not the end of the season so there is still time yet.

Re: How much would you pay for Rodrigo De Paul?

Would Bielsa select him? Would he need to get Bielsa fit? Would we be getting frustrated that he wasn’t getting game time and I assume this would be a signing to replace Klich? I’m with danhirons on this one, why hasn’t he been snapped up if he’s that good? I wondered how we’d managed to get Spain’s...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 18th January) Karen Carney curse kicks in

Morning all.. It isn’t the result I’m concerned about, it’s the performances. Yes the last two seasons we’d have the odd 45minutes of shoddy looking football, I’m struggling to think of too many 90 minutes worth but here now we’re talking 270 minutes of consecutive rubbish. We usually lament missed ...
