I cant hope for a loss but I'm so fed up of this season that a defeat wouldn't bother me.

Losing another makes no difference to our season.
I hate it when people go on about how bad the team was before.

We were a point behind Middlesbrough and six ahead of Millwall.

makes absolutely no sense sacking him before the end of the season. would be very surprised if the club do it.
It makes perfect sense because it's just embarrassing to have him as manager and we need to start planning for next season without him.

Re: The Championship 17/18 - Neves volley

I did compare like for like. Saiz plays number 10 so does Vydra. Johnson is a regular for them O'Kane is for us in the same position. Roofe likes to play striker so does Nugent. Cibicki was signed he plays out wide so does Lawrence. Just because Derby's squad cost more or Cibicki cant get a game do...

Re: The Championship 17/18 - Neves volley

Was just proving there squads far superior. Not unfair at all to compare them. Lawrence is better then Cibicki. Vydra often playes behind the main striker or out wide so its a fair comparison. Nugent is a class above Roofe imo. You've gotta compare like with like. Roofe probably won't ever be as go...

Re: The Championship 17/18 - Neves volley

Dunno about that, quite a few id take over ours tbh. Tom Lawrence over Pawel Cibicki Matej Vydra over Samu Saiz Curtis Davies over Liam Cooper Andre Wisdom over Gaetano Berardi Bradley Johnson over Eunan O'Shame Andreas Weimann over Hadi Sacko. David Nugent over Kemar Roofe Tom Huddlestone over Kal...

From what I remember you were going mad at me wanting Heckingbottom out, now you want us to lose so it gets rid of him.

No....haven't done reserve games since the 60'/70's when I was living in Leeds
It was free, but it was still a good turnout.

Teddy Sheringham opened the scoring for them, then we went on to get 5.

Re: 17% forum backing for Paul Heckingbottom

I actually felt more connected than for a long time at the start of the season, as soon as Heckingbottom came in that was it.

Re: Simple question ?

Grayson used to get embarrassing results, but then he'd get a win when he needed it to keep him in a job only to get another set of embarrassing results.

When you have a joke manager it's best to get beat all the time so they look as bad as possible, as long as you're safe from relegation.

Re: What might have been

In fairness a lot of managers pick weakened teams in the early rounds but then when you get to the semi final stages and the potential chance to win the cup they then select a stronger side. Agree 100% that the league though was priority but suppose you have to weigh it up against whether a win at ...

Re: What might have been

Three kids played who had never made the bench previously in a right mish-mash line-up. Long & expensive day to watch that dirge ! No argument from me they were the only limited enjoyable experiences over the last fifteen years. Add the first time we drew 2-2 at Spurs when Beckford equalised with a...

Re: What might have been

Yes of course he wouldn't but the league matches are of far greater importance. As it was the biggest mistake was bringing Saiz on. TC quite rightly expected the players selected to be good enough to see off a team 2 divisions below that we had already beaten with a weakened team earlier in the sea...
