Re: Watford v Leeds Utd Match Thread

Injury concerns? (Ffs) A few concerns, Rutter is one. On a good path. Joined us in team training parts today, no full sessions yet for him. Still 48 hours for him. Carefullyoptokmistic he is available for some minutes. Wait for the outcome. Connor limped off. Need to assess him, If you limp off you...

Re: Mateo Joseph Fernandez

Didn't realise it was an 88th minute winner when I posted - it does account for the level of jubilation. Although equally I have seen players celebrate goals before without celebrating with the scorer. It is something I always watch for as the way a team celebrates says a lot about how united they ...

That kind of talk will get you right at the top of '64's good graces  But he's right, as are you Andrew--Joe has been an absolute stud on our backline. Credit to Joe for making the plays and having that killer, defensive mentality and credit to DF for seeing a player, who had been up to that p...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 27th March) Wales heartache and the knock on effect for Leeds

To me, Ampadu has to be player of the season. He's been head and shoulders consistently our best player, just behind Rodon. Really hope both are fit for Friday! It's between Ampadu and Rodon for sure. Ampadu has kind of made himself club leader. Such a bargain too. I think both would be great in mo...

Shame. Was starting to show some potential. If we don't get promoted there might be a place for him next season. If we get promoted, we'll be progressing too quickly for him.

Re: Mateo Joseph Fernandez

This, I think, is especially the case if Mateo keeps putting on muscle like he has between last season and this season. It was/is the same with Archie--it's like overnight they went from boys to men (-ish), with room still to grow. We need them on some weight-gainer protein powder so they're muscle...

Fantastic that the IPL is currently underway providing an exciting alternative to the void that is "International" football break. Yuck. I'm a huge cricket fan. Before I moved to the States, cricket was my first sport. Slipped down behind footie since nobody plays it here and I don't get ...

Re: Mateo Joseph Fernandez

Mateo looks like he might be solving any future questions about our first choice number 9. Still think he needs a bit of time and that Bamford is the answer to finish this season. But I could see him leap frogging Bamford next season. If we're in the PL, I envisage Bamford starting with Joseph on th...

Sounds like England were pretty good overall. Just problems in defence. But also far from their regular first choice back line.

I remember the Howard Kendall days.

In my school you either supported Leeds or Liverpool. And since Liverpool were supreme, was happy to see Everton do well back then.
