Re: Friendly Forum

Can we just let it be now please :( No need for it to get nasty and people leaving and not leaving and threatening and yelling etc. Some people dont like each other in all walks of life, just how it is. No need to get upset on a football forum. Deep breaths and happy thoughts (Hecky leaving)

He's obviously moved on and got a lot better since then.

I agree about the consistency though - he needs to prove himself over time.
He can't be the greatest for a single season.

He's a very exciting player.
Was just using it to prove how great Ali is :)

But yes, what you said is my view to.

Re: Friendly Forum

You know what id like (apart from Hecky sacked the day after the last game of the season). One thread where people can put across there opinions on Hecky stay or Hecky go and why. Thats all its for, i know theres the Paul Heckingbottom thread but its huge. One thread where those who want Hecky gone ...

Re: Friendly Forum

Against.

Wouldn't work.

How can you discuss team selection, transfer rumours, tactics, results, performances etc without mentioning Heckingbottom.

Like the next match day thread, how do we discuss the performance in there.

Doesnt change his Swiss league record . . . .

Bit of a grumpy response.

Re: Mo Salah

Not for me.

Thierry Henry for me, and he did it consistently for a number of years.
Didier Drogba.
Fernando Torres (Liverpool one)

Salah isnt ahead of them yet imo, needs to repeat his success.

Heck of a player though.

Swiss league record.
47 games 9 goals

Gianni Alioski
50 games 19 goals 8-)

All players linked so far. Jerry Mbakogu- Long time rumoured, not the most inspiring choice, god damn awful in fact, spent a lot of this season injured.£4m for a 37 goals in 128 game sin the Italian second division. Interestingly, he is represented by Football Capital, an agency Radz was a director ...

Re: Dean Smith or Oscar Garcia

Quique Sanchez Flores now available. Another heavily linked in the past, once after Steve Evans once after Gary Monk. In terms of ambition it couldn't get more ambitious at our level. More successful then Nuno at Wolves. 2 top 4 finishes with Valencia, Champions league Quarter finalist. Europa Leagu...

Re: Leeds v Barnsley - Team/News/Reports/Ratings

Yes, you have. That`s partly legit, partly not legit. It doesn`t matter what the quality of the squad is? Any speficic circumstances at all have no relevance? Simplification can be warping... Of course you have to take the squad into account, but that cant be an excuse for total abject failure, whi...

Re: Leeds v Barnsley - Team/News/Reports/Ratings

You just mentioned a further point: simplifying things to an extent that the facts get warped. No, not a psychologist. Just sceptic towards opinions claiming to be more than an opinion (and therefore not implying to be THE one and only truth.) Football is a simple game. Wins vs losses. Points vs no...

Yes ive seen it your right they do lift themselves occasionally.

But then thats where a good manager motivates his players a bit more isnt it?

To overcome this additional "fight"

Re: Leeds v Barnsley - Team/News/Reports/Ratings

A good example what I mean when I say that most opinions are based on a) wrong or insufficient facts and stats and their interpretation (correct interpreted stats could be called facts), b) the self-perception as a person with superior knowledge, claiming that it must be obvious for everyone. But a...

Everybody is fighting for points since game 1 surely?

Sunderland been down the bottom most of the season, dont imagine they been coasting till the last few games.
