Re: Barnsley v Leeds Utd Match Thread - Shackleton starts for Forshaw

Barnsley caused us more problems then any other side we have played this season. They pressed and caused us issues, speaks volumes i suspect Kiko will feature in the MOTM thread which i doubt he has all season. Positives. A win and a clean sheet. We have finally found a pen taker. Kiko was immense. ...

Re: Barnsley v Leeds Utd Match Thread - Shackleton starts for Forshaw

Barnsley showing that when pressed pur players arent as comfortable as we think.

They have caused us issues and can see why Forshaw plays against teams like this.

MB has to stop being so stubborn, Costa should have started over Harrison.

I fear a Swansea scenario all over again

But worrying that MB knows we are crap from set pieces but the club did nothing to try and rectify that in the summer.

Fair play to KP for being honest.

Re: Today's Games

I must say that this weeks results have been near on perfect from a Leeds perspective. Just tomorrow to get right now and we will be top again. Indeed, great set of results and must say not been to impressed with any of our opponents this season. Battered Forest, battered Swansea, should have beate...

Are you sure?

Normally sky would have it on their website as live football coming up?

Dallas and Cooper New Deals

Dallas signs a new 4 year deal (contract expired in 2020)

Coops signs a new 5 year deal (contract expired in 2021)

Dallas deserved a new deal, a squad player in the Prem is fine.

Coops on a 5 year deal with 2 years left on his deal is an odd one imo.

Not premier league quality, seems a long deal.

Both were goal machines : 194 goals in 411 games - Yeboah 195 goals in 468 games - Hasselbaink Thats just JFH's league record, he scored over 250 goals. Tbh i dont really remember Yeboah but JFH is the best number 9 ive seen us have. Yeboah only played in a major league for 2 years (Bundesliga is a...

Re: Championship 19/20

Huddersfield are close to appointing highly rated Lincoln boss Danny Cowley.

Tbh i think this is a mistake, Huddersfield are in free fall, he should look at Nathan Jones as a warning.

Jones was the next big thing not long ago, now look at him.

20k a week with a release clause.

Thats fair imo.

Not the highest earner but a decent rise.

Good work.

You omitted our best striker of the 90's Cjay  Also although Rose has developed into a top premiership player, Danny didn't play one single game for Leeds United Id disagree, Jimmy was immense for us and won the Premier league golden boot while with us. Tony was spectacular but Jimmy was a goa...

Ed scores twice for Engerland in their 3-2 over Turkey.

Cooper makes an error to allow the Russians score against the Jocks.
Good on ya Eddie, now dont get injured.

Sad as it is to say that isnt a surprise, Coops is nowhere near international class.

Bamford. He has come in for quite a lot of overly harsh criticism, yes he missed chances but his scoring rate is extremely good. He and Eddie can certainly play together. Kinny. Meh, what he doesn't say is the reason the wage bill spiralled is because of the first summer where they signed a ridiculo...

Offensive and Defensive

Been thinking about our home form issues and i think what we need is two separate lineups depending on the opponent or the location. MB won't change the style, fair enough. But couldn't he change the players to fit the challenge? For example, against Forest at home did we really need so many tactica...

Home Form

Watched the Quest highlights and heard this stat.

1 win in our last 7 home games.

Thats poor.

But why?

This is where MB earns his coin imo, he has to fix that, you want autos you have to be a rock at home.

Re: Today's Games

Watched Wolves vs Everton and couldn't help but wonder if we and Wolves have a bit in common. Both of us exceeded expectations last season. Both of us have small squads and dare i say it, both of us didnt do quite enough to strengthen. Wolves signed 2 loans from last season permanently. They signed ...
