Velvet Underground recorded four cracking albums between 1967 & 1970 Unsure which one is my favourite, all four are beauties 8-) Playlist today - Lou at his best Velvet Underground & Nico White Light/White Heat Velvet Underground Loaded plus an outtakes album 'Another View' from 1986 Chart success ...

I love Depeche Mode but the above is just a pop ditty compared to what came later for me. Talking Heads one of the most influential bands of all time. You can hear them in the Pixies stuff to start with and that lead to Nirvana and the sound of Seattle which was the last time Rock was truly alive.....
