Re: Mega Favourite Song Poll Round 7 - VOTE NOW

Gaye is one of my favourite artists of all-time. Once again I haven't posted many of his songs in these polls as soul doesn't down well in our polls generally If you love that rendition by Marvin, have a listen to one of his lesser known albums 'Romantically Yours' where the great man sings some ol...

Re: Mega Favourite Song Poll Round 7 - VOTE NOW

The joker songs are not my pick Azkal, the are the winning songs from the 'Best Song Poll' comps we use to run a few years ago. In the main they are a band/artists most popular song voted some of our current players plus several members who no longer post on here. I feel using the old poll it will ...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 10th July)

I don't mind Blackman on loan, if we do go up and he does well it's a viable purchase also if he has a bad game or so he's not undroppable for BPF - if we had Stockdale on £20k a week that's a huge block to BPF getting a game and a big waste of wages if he does get to be no1. My only reservation wit...

I love both songs but St Augustine was always going to be my vote. I own three or four Mercury Rev albums
Playing the Arts Centre in Norwich later in the year - great little venue if anyone fancies a trip down.

Re: Mega Fave Song Decade Round 6 - BB, Gandi & 1304 to Vote

I'm with Norfolk on this one, can't believe Nick Cave is losing to some throwaway pop from R.E.M (who, for clarity, I like). With there being a few Peaky Blinders fans on here, I thought NC would have romped it. And not just because I picked it!! One of my least favourite REM songs as well......but...

Re: To Panic Or Not To Panic

No panic for me yet but to be convinced we have really moved forward I think the club has to pull through on some of the marquee signings they have clearly targeted e.g. Hernandez, Vydra, Gunn and Bartley or other high quality alternatives no last minute make do loans and no marks. If we don't get t...

I'll be absolutely astounded if the above three played a major part in a promotion winning team, there are a few more too Cjay
We'd have said the same about Sol Bamba when he left.

p.s. we must be in for a CB or 2, we're even thinner on the ground than last year in that dept. Not seen much rumoured apart from the continued Bartley links.
