Re: Harry Potter

There's a few main characters Pug or Millamber as he becomes, Tomas, his friend who finds the armour, Arutha the prince, a couple of others. Story is continued in Darkness at Sethenon and Silverthorn IIRC The Daggerspell series (Which I've since remembered is properly called the Deverry Series) is ...

Re: Harry Potter

Rift War saga by Feist, Memory Sorrow and Thorn by Williams, The really dark, Fionavar Tapastry by Gavriel Kaye and finally the series that starts with the Daggerspell book by Katherine Kerr ( a really engrossing 12 book series that weaves so many stories) are worth reading too. Currently rereading...

Re: Harry Potter

Have to admit of not being much of a reader, never seem to be able to dedicate enough time, especially for the commitment lotr books would take. If I chill it's to music not reading , If I read I usually fall asleep by the 6th page :) [ /quote] LOTR could be a long read then  Used to travel in...

Loved the films. Better on the big screen
If you enjoyed the Hobbit in any way give LOTR a read mate.

Re: Harry Potter

Not if you love the books..too many inaccuracies, but cracking watch if you've not I'd imagine LOTR is a stunning piece of work, even if that genre is not your thing it is fantastically well written, the impeccably crafted genealogy is a work of genius on it’s own, I’d recommend anyone to read it. ...

Re: Leeds United v West Bromwich Albion Match Thread - Bielsa names an unchanged side

What a gracious man Bielsa is. He takes a yellow for the team and during the post match interview he spends most to the time saying that he is sorry he had to take Tyler Roberts off and apologises not just once but twice. He explains his tactics that when he brought Tyler on he wanted to attack but...

Re: Leeds United v West Bromwich Albion Match Thread - Bielsa names an unchanged side

Well that's a relief. West Brom best team we've played so far and credit to them for actually having a go and it was a good game and competitive. It was just important to hold on and win that, regardless of who the opponents were today. That should give the players a lot of confidence. Not often yo...

Re: Leeds United v West Bromwich Albion Match Thread - Bielsa names an unchanged side

Bamford gets Sky MOTM but I’ll probably go for Dallas, turned in to a real consistent and versatile player. White, Phillips and Kiko also put in top performances. Only slight downsides were Harrison inconsistency, don’t see him for ages, then does something brilliant and follows it with something aw...

Re: Leeds United v West Bromwich Albion Match Thread - Bielsa names an unchanged side

Great result, not our best performance but the lads laid it all on the line tonight, defended with real conviction and had the better of the chances. Enforced early changes made it hard for us I think as when WB pushed forward and changed things up we were limited in our options to freshen it up. We...
