Re: Orta on his way
It looks as though Orta and Heckingbottom will both be staying now, seeing as we're reportedly eyeing up more 'talent' from Barnsley ... Fasten your seatbelts we're in for another bumpy ride next season with those two clowns.

Re: What do we need for next season? Signings etc.
Sack Orta and Heckinbottom. Install McCarthy as manager and give him carte blanche to get rid of all the foreign dross and recruit some British players

Re: Marching On Together - Onwards and Upwards.
He's done well at Ipswich, on a very tight budget. Has more experience in his little finger than Heckingbottom will ever have. Heckingbottom has shown, both here and at Barnsley, that he's hopeless - despite having a load of dross to work with he could have better organised the defence, for instance...

Marching On Together - Onwards and Upwards.
It's obvious what has to be done, and it should be done now . Sack Orta, sack Heckingbottom, they've both been disasters of catastrophic proportions, and give McCarthy the managers job! Give him full backing to sack whoever he wishes on the playing staff and give him as much financial backing as pos...

Re: The THOMAS CHRISTIANSEN Appreciation Thread
I must admit, after so much suffering over the past decade, I thought Christiansen was just another Hockaday - a chancer! It's still early days yet but I'm more than happy to eat humble pie, in fact I'll willingly OD on it! This guy looks the real deal - dare we dream?

Re: Huddersfield v Sheff Wed
Coming, as I do, from Sheffield, I'm hoping the wendies lose against the udders and that they then lose in the play-off final - anything for a quiet life!

Re: Is Monk still the man?
The jury's still has to be out on Monk; the way we fell away in the play off run-in was alarming!

I hope Leicester do it - It's a breath of fresh air and a kick up the jacksie for all the rich money men who've ruined our game!

Re: A Run of Form: Looking Back
I'm not sure we can keep this run of form going. I think recent wins have been unconvincing. I watched 10 minutes of the first half of the Boro match and thought our defending was poor and expected them to run up a cricket score. I hope I'm wrong but I feel a set-back coming tonight.

Sounds as though Bamba did have a good game, despite his lack of match fitness, let's hope we've at last found a commanding CB.

I've only just joined the forum but I've supported Leeds since October 7, 1967. On that day we beat Chelsea 7-0.

Playing Bamba, given his lack of match fitness, does seem a little foolhardy.

Re: Gary Kelly
Terrific fullback. Could tackle and had pace. He's right up there with the best I've seen, Cooper, Reaney, Dorigo possibly better than Sterland.
