Re: 17% forum backing for Paul Heckingbottom

makes absolutely no sense sacking him before the end of the season. would be very surprised if the club do it.

Re: PH Sack him or back him?

Because we didn't show enough ambition and I blame AR for that. We decided to give Cooper a 4 year deal instead, when if we'd signed Helander, we'd be top 6 right now. Helander is on £4k a week and is ooc in 2019, Adam and Hernandez are ooc this summer, so we have no excuses not to look at them. Er...

Re: Leeds v Barnsley - Team/News/Reports/Ratings

Ahhh thanks for the comment regarding pontus

I reckon he'll have a lot fewer teams interested in him now than last season so there may be a decent chance he will stay. But we will see

Re: Leeds v Barnsley - Team/News/Reports/Ratings

Screenshot 2018-04-19 at 07.57.43.png Unsure how Hecky will play this against his former team Will Hecky stick with the players that lost 1-0 at Villa ? Has Pontus played his last match for Leeds ? Will he select more under 23's with the likes of Clarke, Dalby or Edmondson as we clearly have a prob...

Re: Our strikers....

Is he ? Some truly great composed finishes from Chris Wood here & the clip below doesn't include his magnificent strike at Birmingham out of his own making My god we have missed Chris Wood, a striker who was always in the right place at the right time last season unlike our current lump. Now showin...

Re: Our strikers....

It's something like 10 goals in 20 starts I think, which really isn't bad at all. I'd fancy him with a one on one more than Wood, too. No one is blaming Peacock-Farrell for not keeping clean sheets, yet they expect Lasogga to score goals in a team that's playing badly. this the same chris wood who ...

Re: Player Of The Year 17/18.

How could someone whose reign started so well just continue to descend into farce? - sell Wood for instalments rather than outright fee. - insult our history and fan base by ruining our badge. - sack TC. - appoint a manager with 1 win in 16 games and act like you've just appointed Pep. - say you're...

Re: Our strikers....

Someone told me he is out of contract at the end of this season with his parent club Hamburg looking likely to be relegated. So Lassoga is gonna have to take a serious look at his finances as I can't see any club paying him the same salary rate he's on now unfortunately for Hamburg its the end of n...

Re: Our strikers....

No prem team will even consider signing Lasogga permanently, I don't even think a Championship team would consider it. He'll have to go on loan again I think as there won't be many takers after his hit-and-miss performances in the championship this season and Hamburg will have to subsidise his wages.

I've gone for back him. Mainly because I'm still annoyed that people have basically been calling for him to be sacked before he even managed a game here

Re: Paul Heckingbottom

small squad doesn't contradict the season ticket money being invested into players - you could easily sell two players for 3 mill and buy one for 6 mill (for example)

definitely need a smaller squad - too many players that are not good enough in the squad

Re: No Quick Fix.

We were close last season, then we changed Owner, DoF and manager, getting the latter wrong imo. Still even had we got that right we'd be looking at yet another rebuild taking 3 more years. That said I don't think we're far off and most are too critical of our players We need a keeper preferably no...

Re: Dean Smith

Has about as much experience in the championship as hecky and no experience of promotions, so it's a no from me. Would be an interesting appointment but he's got no experience of working with a decent budget. He's done well keeping teams up on a small budget but thus often doesn't transpire across t...

Re: Gaetano Berardi - Is he a liability ?

That wasn't a dirty challenge though, just the result of playing a RB at LB. A left back would have lead with his left leg and it would have been a clean challenge if he had any defensive talent about him at all pure two footed, clumsy lunging tackle. absolutely nothing to do with him being a RB at...

Re: Gaetano Berardi - Is he a liability ?

yeah needs to go in the summer imo - gives his all but a total liability. Perhaps played his last game in a Leeds shirt then? Can't wait for Ayling to be back and to get in a decent left back
