Re: Dan James

Personally I think it was fortunate it skipped up off Bryan’s attempted block on its way towards goal. If it had stayed on the floor I think it would have been cleared by a defender. He deserved that bit of luck, but I do not subscribe to the suggestion it was a cool well executed finish. same, he ...

Re: Marc Roca

it's also self-evident that the loan clauses apply until we're back in the prem - it would be odd for a player to agree to the clause for only a year. what should have been inserted is the option for us to extend their contracts to avoid them leaving on frees at the end of their contract like koch

Re: Marc Roca

I’m not surprised that Roca is the one announcing this. He is probably well aware that if there was a transfer fee around his neck no club would touch him with a barge pole. A cheap loan fee is all any self respecting club would pay for such a useless gobshite like him. wtf are you on about? he's b...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 27th February) - Farke vs Bielsa

While I agree that Farke has a better team, come on our team under Bielsa was not at all a bad one

Meslier

Ayling, White, Coops, Dallas?
Klich
JH Hernandez Costa
Paddy

That's a really good team

Re: Georginio Rutter

I'm gonna have to force myself to watch the game again  I thought Georginio was poor for much of the game, then amazingly he was involved in all three goals :-D Bamford, James & Roberts helped create the space for the big fella he was, he loses the ball a lot however, he also absolutely dr...

Re: Leeds vs Leicester MOTM

as frustrating as rutter is, losing the ball sometimes, he won us that game by creating all three goals

how anyone can leave him out of their top three, let alone top six, is somewhat baffling

Actually it's probably click bait bullshit

Re: Pablo vs Jimmy vs Georgie

Can't compare, really, unless you could see prime Pablo in this team. On current form though, I'd go: Start Summerville Bench Pablo Drop Rutter. Feels harsh on Rutter, who may be the most skilful of the three, but he's the one who's most likely to have an off day, and he doesn't have the finishing ...

Re: Crysencio Summerville

I think we'll be fine keeping him if we get promoted. After all, doing it in the championship v the prem is a big difference. He'll want to start for a team in the prem rather than be on the bench for a higher up team. Issue will be if we don't get promoted, he will be gone, far too good for another...

Re: Georginio Rutter

I like Rutter a lot but his end product needs vastly improving

before today he was on only one goal or assist in the previous 8 league games - which really isn't good enough at this level for him. Let's hope his end product starts to improve and he can become a complete player!

not a lot to complain about with 7 wins and a draw, and overcoming the draw in the replay, even for us lot (cjay still has some gripes from time to time maybe  )

footballer's careers are short, sometimes they have to be ruthless

teams are often the same with players

no ill feeling towards him from me, was one of our best players last season. wish him well but think its good business given his injury history

Is Kalvin, the last academy graduate (not signed from another club) to perform at high level?

Archie's brother Harry is reputed to be even better, a striker as well.
