Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 18 May)

Just saying new goalkeeper well down the list of needs, and I'm very happy if we start the season with BPF in goal. If we end up with a shiny new keeper that doesn't work and no new proven ECL striker then that would be a bad off season. fair enough - i definitely agree with you, though, that cb an...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 18 May)

You can see BPF has a lot of potential, why screw with that? Any Keeper you could sign could come in be crap, draw the fans ire and then is done here...Apparently the one we're linked with was rank last season. Too much assuming that if we get a name in he's an instant upgrade, don't forget BPF had...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 18 May)

No idea why we need a new keeper tbh, BPF has shown first team ability and we own Weidwald who's coachable I'd imagine, some decent traits there. Spend the money where it matter - a good and fit CB plus a 451 striker, the rest we got I'd be surprised if BPF started as first choice next season (done...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 18 May)

I don't think they have released the senior squad releasee's yet (imo) this is the only list. it's basically just the list of players who are out of contract at the end of the season and without the offer of a new contract. none of the senior players are out of contract - we'll be moving on the lik...

Losing Pearce will be huge imo.
he's only played 5 games and we still get compensation for him anyway even if he leaves - so him not signing a new contract isn't a big deal. the club were going to let him go in the summer anyway

Re: Summer Transfers and Squad Discussion

Bet victor have suspended betting on Abel Hernandez New club betting - which isn’t that interesting as he’s also said his goodbyes on Instagram and Twitter. Really hope we get him as I think it would really be a statement of intent but not holding my breath Apparently demanded 75k when his move bef...

Great shout Danhirons. Its such a waste us having both Coyle and Ayling for the same position. I reckon Coyle is going to have a great future ahead of him.

Captain Ayling or Bartley if he comes to us.
oh yeah, if Bartley signed he'd be a great option as captain too. would be a terrific signing

Ayling is not a captain though ..
I think he is. Also, TC must have thought he was captain material as he made him VC.

Re: Get Allardyce!!!

Can't tell if this is a joke thread or not. Massive wages (115k per week) which we couldn't afford and there's no way he will drop to the championship.

Re: Jerry Mbakogu

We need a number 2 if we're going to play 451, neither Roberts or Roofe are lone strikers Agree about roofe, that’s why he’s mainly third choice - basically if we have no one else. I thought Roberts had been bought as a center forward though and not to play out wide. I guess we will see in time tho...

Re: Jerry Mbakogu

we don't need a number 2, we've got tyler roberts for that. roofe as a second/third choice also. antonsson still on our books too. we just need a first choice

Question - If Jansson has a good World Cup and an offer comes in between 12-15m, would the club be stupid not to accept it?
Yes.

We could build a whole new squad for that.

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wed 16 May)

Boro have two more years of parachute payments. was scrolling through the comments for this! Think Boro will be there again next season. They bought badly the last few seasons, signed about a million strikers who just haven't performed. With a few shrewd signings over the summer I think they'll be ...

Afternoon 1304, suppose it doesn't help that Radrizzani's mistakes are so prominent on social media due to disgruntled Leeds fans.

How many more chances will Rad be given?
He's not some kind of employee  He has as many chances as he wants!

Re: Summer Transfers and Squad Discussion

For a team whose attacking players have often been accused of making poor decisions with the final ball, MM seems perfect. uN1uBGnIOK4 Because a highlight video shows whether he's good at making decisions or not... There must be something wrong with him if he hasn't been snapped up by a bigger club...

Re: Kemar Roofe

Decent bench material imo, grabs the odd goal but as others gave said not good enough or suited to playing as a winger or as a lone striker. Probably would be worth selling if we aren't going to play with two upfront

Re: Kemar Roofe

No need to apologise I didn’t take it solely aimed at me  As someone else pointed out, he is probably best suited in a 2 up front 4-4-2 formation, maybe if we are keeping PH he will shine next season as I’m sure PH will want to sign players capable of playing 4-4-2, where this would leave Saiz...
