Re: Album Club Review - Counting Crows/Pearl Jam

Not a fan of Pearl Jam on record, too MOR for me, live is a completely different story though.

Counting Crows never really listened beyond a few songs tbh.

Not really sure of the rules or what I do ha.

Re: Birmingham City

Might be better - remember under Monk at the end and we were playing teams like Wolves who had nothing to play for yet tonked us. If they need to go for the win it stops them just sitting back. Exactly. I'd rather play teams that desperately need points than those that will just spoil games with th...

Also Bielsa is a God in South America so these kind of players would be tempted to join.

Leeds have been drawn away to Burnley in the Premier League Cup Quarter Final.
Certainly very winnable and a huge opportunity, we beat them home and away already in the league.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 22nd Mar)

Nandez would be a quality signing, but I guess entirely dependent on us going up. I can't see us affording him in the Championship, nor would he want to come. That's why it would be so bloody frustrating if we fail to go up. The calibre of players we'd be missing out on. No chance we'd be settling f...

Re: The Early #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 18th Mar)

Afternoon all. Time's short so I'll make these quick (for me). Leeds dominated large parts of the game, 70% possession and 17 shots at goal prove this; however over 90 minutes Leeds could not muster a single shot on target. Bearing this in mind should our 8m forward line of Bamford and Roberts have...

Re: Still hopeful we'll achieve automatic promotion ??

By the same token though. Blades should have had 1 player definitely sent off 1st half at there ground and another probably for a 2nd yellow. Brentford very debatable pen denied us 2 points. Norwich 3 deflections fell perfectly for them. Swansea no fit cbs for the 1st game vs them. BPF very poor er...

How is saving a penalty luck? If the Reading player slipped and it went over the bar then that would be lucky.

Dick Dale, the King of the Surf Guitar, who was 81.

Misirlou was used probably most famously for the opening to Pulp Fiction, and remains one of the most iconic riffs in history.

Another guitar legend gone and they're aren't many left. :(

Re: Still hopeful we'll achieve automatic promotion ??

Not sure if this stat includes all competitions or just Championship, but for penalties awarded: Sheffield United = 12 Norwich City = 6 Leeds United = 2, and I think that's 2 more than we got last season As I was saying yesterday, penalties make a huge difference to their points total and goal diff...

Because we have super-sub Dallas who is likely to shoot at a brick wall defence
Bielsa is showing too much loyalty to him and Douglas, even if they don't deserve it. Brown, Shack, Clarke should be the three subs if not starting.

Re: Ayling/Klich/Harrison = Douglas/Dallas/Clarke

So why did Brown, Bogusz, Shackleton & Clarke have to play so much time in a U23 cup game if they were being considered for arguably one of biggest matches of the season? Operating with just two strikers all season was always a massive risk, not prolific ones too, as is the case with our CB's which...

Just imagine if it's between us and Norwich last game and a win get us up, while Ipswich are already relegated. I'm sure their fans would be devastated to help Norwich go up.

Re: Ayling/Klich/Harrison = Douglas/Dallas/Clarke

God help us if Pablo incurs a injury, he ran the show magnificently yesterday. Still capable of playing at very highest level. Imagine the space he'd have to produce his silky skills in the premiership We really haven't got a player who can fill his boots, a class act The Polish Messi. Also some of...

The away fans always sound louder on tv because the mics are right next to them. They only sung after they scored and even then, that was about us rather than them.

Re: Still hopeful we'll achieve automatic promotion ??

Losing important games because you fail to take your chances and give away soft goals is choking in my book. Pressure gets to the players, at this stage of the season you need a cool head and to take chances when they come, we dont do that, Blades did yesterday. If players are missing chance after ...

Re: Ayling/Klich/Harrison = Douglas/Dallas/Clarke

Said throughout the season Cjay we haven't got a bench to win games, we've got plenty of average plodders who can help out if we need to keep things tight or to rest tired legs but beyond our first eleven we are really struggling if we are not commanding a game Brown, Clarke, Bogusz and Shack are a...
