Re: Bolton v Leeds Utd Match Thread

I think Clarke will start either v Blackburn or Hull. Bielsa will mix it up because of the quick schedule.

Re: Bolton v Leeds Utd Match Thread

First time we've won 5 in a row since League One promotion season. Can't help but wonder how far ahead we'd be if we kept Pablo and Bamford fit all season. Anyway 6 above 3rd, 11 above 7, although Forest have Derby on Monday, so hopefully a draw in that one.

Re: The Early #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 13th Dec)

I read somewhere on Twitter that because of the administration we have a bad credit rating, so if we went up it would be a year until we got the tv money. Not sure how true, but it was a while back.

Re: The Early #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 13th Dec)

I will praise Radz when he's done good things, but he's done as much bad as good imo. Awful new badge that shat on our history, hiring Heckingbottom and wasting money, bringing bad publicity onto the club by going to Myanmar, the public attack on TC that was straight out of the Cellino locker and wh...

Re: The Early #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 13th Dec)

Hallelujah  Let's not forget he also attracted probably the best manager we've had in god knows how long who has us playing some of the best football we've seen in that same period. He also thought wasting £500k plus dismissal compensation on a manager with 1 win in 16 games was a good idea :r...

Re: The Early #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 13th Dec)

And people saying you have to gamble to get out of the championship. Well I'd like to see them do it with their own money as plenty of owners have come in, gambled, not got promoted and set their clubs back financially for years - there are 2 ways out of the championship and it is just as easy to f...

Re: The Cupboard Is Bare

We've been linked with Ibai Gomez again today, so we'll see what happens there. Where does our money go? Our turnover must be pretty high given how expensive our tickets are, plus non football events and loss of rent payments. It's not like we spend it on players, as we sell to buy and our wages are...

Re: The Early #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 13th Dec)

I can understand Samu going as he's homesick, but I'm angry at our lack of bargaining skills. Why do we always accept the first offer we receive? Getafe aren't rich, so we'll probably sell him for less than we paid, which is ridiculous given how good he's been. I don't understand how we have no mone...

Can we get better strikers than Roofe, Bamford or even Tyler Roberts?
I think Kun will be better than all 3. He was highly rated at Barca, he only left as he saw a faster route to the first team through us.

Re: January Transfer Rumours And Squad Discussion

To be honest, we probably have a lot of promotion related clauses that we would have to pay if we went up. I think Forshaw, Bamford and Roberts definitely do, that's about £6m. Plus I'm guessing all the players and staff would get bonuses too, so we're probably looking at a £15m outlay if we go up. ...

No real surprise. People can't afford all these streaming platforms on top of paying through the nose for subscription channels.

Re: January Transfer Rumours And Squad Discussion

Not suggesting we should throw away millions on unnecessary players. Just that cream rises to the top, there are better squads in the league and id expect those sides to find form (indeed Stoke and Villa are starting to). And our rivals will strengthen (god knows how Villa can) but they will, Stoke...

Re: Loan watch!

I'd say only Coyle and maybe Kitching and Wilks have any chance of a future at the club. The rest need to seek employment elsewhere. It's embarrassing how many sub standard players we acquired in the summer of '17. I fear we will be stuck with Sacko for another two and a half years. Rey's a good pl...

Great stuff. Well done Patrick, what a boost it is to have him fit and firing for the Christmas period.

Good to see Brown on the scoresheet too and hopefully Baker can get a boost in confidence from his goal.

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 11th Dec)

Morning all. I don't want players on their last pay day, which is exactly what Westwood would be. Why would anyone want Pulis in the PL? Even Boro fans don't want him. Isn't that Moose guy a Hammer anyway? So by his logic they should be relegated for having a foreign manager. Conveniently let's forg...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 10th Dec)

Morning all. The issue is Pablo missed the last one, so I get why Roofe wanted to take it. Saiz, Alioski and Klich are also good penalty takers. Let's see if Leitner is banned then like Jansson was. Of course not, just like Michael Dawson wasn't. I pay no attention to bookies. They know Leeds...

Re: FA cup

It’s not either Leon. The match is not actually being shown by a UK Broadcaster. Apparently the FA signed a new broadcast contract with overseas television which means a substantial amount of games can be switched for foreign tv. http://www.thefa.com/news/2018/dec/06/fa-cup-on-tv-third-round-061218...

First game I'm missing this season SG

Is it on the BBC or Sky ?
I should be able to get a ticket in the home end, providing stands aren't shut. Just gotta keep quiet all game, very difficult though!
