Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 11 June)

Someone who’s been fairly consistent with their ITK news I follow on twitter suggested that there’s going to be a lot of ruthless buying and selling this summer and it’s not going to please some fans. Could be total rubbish but I’m half expecting a big name to be leaving (my personal view is saiz)

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 11 June)

Coincidence that Hernandez put a picture up last night at the same place bielsa was giving his talk?

To add to the chat - I saw a rumour that Reading have bid 7 mill for Roofe.

Re: Aston Villa

Another case of a club thinking they would walk the league after throwing money at it. It’s absolute madness looking at their wage bill. Few on 70k a week - more than a handful on 40k. It’s a real shame for them - I can see a few players going for cheaper than market price. Whoever can offer most ca...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 8 June)

Reports in turkey that galatasaray have put an offer forward for Hernandez - real sucker punch if he goes to them over us. European football is a big draw so let’s just hope he wants to stay in England.

Can’t really fault much of what he’s said in that last few paragraphs. Hopefully a kick up the arse that something will happen this summer

I’d rather hire whatever vegetables darko has grown on his gardening leave than hire Alan f*cking Pardew. Guys an absolute clown

Re: Forum backing for Marco Bielsa as new manager

I mean .... he has won things before. A few League titles and An Olympic gold(if we can class that) Not to mention europa finals with a pretty bang average Bilbao side. I think the name alone means that a higher level calibre of player will take note (Abel Hernandez?) Not to mention his high regard ...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 21 May)

Morning !! Of course he wants to offload him - that’s a lot of cash for a distinctly average player. He’s ptobably close to driving him here himself. I’m not sure how much is true with a lot of the linked signings however it can only be a good thing that we’re linked with a lot of domestic players.

Doesn't mean much, BPF couldn't get a game at non league York.
Much better example than the one I used haha

Re: Summer Transfers and Squad Discussion

Bet victor have suspended betting on Abel Hernandez New club betting - which isn’t that interesting as he’s also said his goodbyes on Instagram and Twitter.

Really hope we get him as I think it would really be a statement of intent but not holding my breath

Re: Summer Transfers and Squad Discussion

I mean the one that struggled to get selected for a Spanish second division team managing 5 appearances or 107 minutes in total, not even making the bench for the last three games and subsequently has been left out the last two Japanese Internationals and might not even make the plane to Russia, th...

don’t get me started on the joke of a Japanese player who we have signed.
You mean that 21 year old that none of us have ever seen play yet that’s in the provisional Japan World Cup squad

There’s about 10 clubs in for Hernandez - Newcastle / Spartac Moscow rumoured to be two so I wouldn’t see it happening

Re: Not on the plane?

The game he came on as sub on the right and ripped the defence a new one. His last appearance was on the left against someone...I think he's coach-able and PH could make a player of him yet. I don't think TC had the coaching skills... I'm higher on him than Grot/Ekuban because he has what you can't...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 10 May)

And if West Brom give the manager a decent crack I think they’ll be straight up. Stoke I think will struggle - I think their better players will be picked off by other prem clubs and the rest of them didn’t look interested since Christmas. Swansea are an interesting one. Keen to see who leaves them ...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 10 May)

The couple of games I saw him in I thought he looks alright. Probably one of the better deliverers of a cross we have. But he’s hardly a teenager so I don’t think we have the funds or free wages to let him wait and develop. Also - I’m taking nothing from that game. It’s a total PR stunt - golden han...

Re: Kemar Roofe

i mean - he’s hit 13 in 33 games. 9 of those games as substitute cameos or as a winger. Personally I think ekuban is useless and I’d rather roofe than him or Grot on the bench. The Morrison type argument of “yeah but he runs about loads and has passion” doesn’t really fly for me. I think the problem...
