Use to love the old Carry On films '63

Carry on Up The Jungle was my favourite
Carry on Camping was my fave 64. But the first one I ever watched was Carry on Sergeant which was also brilliant. They don't make 'em like that any more!

Re: Stop the world, I want to get off

I listened in disbelief this morning how Kleenex Mansize tissues can no longer be called this and will be known as Kleenex large tissues all because the PC brigade have stuck their noses in yet again and decided they weren’t appropriate in this day and age. This follows on from the recent announcem...

Your best so far Hector
I always used to love the cheeky postcards at the seaside when I was a kid....used to get told off by the shopkeepers. They're probably not allowed to sell such things now.....

UNITED

Blimey. It's always annoyed me that interviewers, commentators, announcers etc refer to Manure as United when there are so many other clubs with United in their name. I find it disrespectful. But this morning Rob Wooton on SKY actually referred to Leeds United as UNITED. He was referring to the 73/7...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 18th Oct)

As for Jansson, I can imagine the FA banning him 5 mins before kick off on Saturday just to screw up Bielsa's plans....cynical? Who me?

Re: West Brom away game - Sat 10th Nov - Help !!

While on the subject of tickets for away games - if any of you know of a ticket going for spare for an away game because someone is unable to make to a game this season please let me know. I'm happy to pay full price for it and we could meet beforehand to swap ticket for cash. It's many years since...

Re: The Bodyguard/Strangers/Killing Eve

Musicals for me, can’t abide them :) Me neither Norfolk. But my fave all time film is 'The Sound or Music' (memories from childhood) and the other week we watched 'The Greates showman'....twice  but only because we'd seen Jane McDonald perform two songs from the film, 'This is Me' and 'Never...

Re: The Bodyguard/Strangers/Killing Eve

Woah! Watched the last episode of Killing Eve last night. The whole series? Yes, very far fetched, yes, very violent, but I thought it had some beautifully worked subtle comedy moments played out within the 8 episodes. Didn't end how I expected, but that's good. I loved the characters ( I know Jill ...
