Well! After reading some of your comments on here I'm just listening to 'Morning Phase' album - Beck. On track 3 and absolutely loving it so far :clapp:
Nice one, swannie, glad you're enjoying it

Re: Album of 2018 Grand Final - VOTE NOW

Morning Phase is the one after Modern Guilt. Give it another try, mate, beautiful album and, as I said to Ges, a companion piece to Sea Change. One for headphones and no distractions

Re: Album of 2018 Grand Final - VOTE NOW

Odelay obviously and I love Modern Guilt too. Most of his stuff is at worst interesting though. I didn't pay much heed to him after Odelay, to be honest, but then someone bought me Morning Phase and I started backtracking from there. Some albums are more standout than others but, as you say, everyt...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate ( Tue 22nd Jan)

I agree with Rab's team selections but knowing Marcelo as we do from his first six months in charge sadly he'll probably play Phillips as one of our main CB's & waste another 45 minutes with the inept Harrison on the flank subbing him out of more frustration just after half-time yet again. Bielsa n...

Played a minute sample of each song from Sea Change earlier, listening to whole album  not what I was expecting, even though I understand he's pretty diverse. He keeps you guessing, Ges, not afraid to go off in unexpected directions. Glad you're enjoying Sea Change, it's a mighty fine album

Re: Leeds United Under-23's thread

That should have said "not" I did watch about 25minutes of the 2nd half. Decent i thought, some nice passes to the flanks, came and caught 1 or 2 crosses although wasnt under huge pressure but even so. There was a few of those ones where the winger gets to the line then tries to cut it back l...

Re: January Transfer Rumours And Squad Discussion

Call me an idiot but what I would like to see is Klich in the number 10 role. He played that position when he was over in holland and got 10 assists so he was making goals. This would allow Forshaw to become the box to box player that Klich has been for most of the season, and then we could have Ph...

Re: Album of 2018 Grand Final - VOTE NOW

Throwing Muses, yes. Don't know enough of the others material to say. Ges, if you fancy dipping your toe into Beck's waters, can I recommend Sea Changes from 2002 and Morning Phase from 2014. Two sides of the one coin and some of his finest work. Odelay, his breakthrough album, also excellent. In m...

   don't ever listen to anything I say ever again! genuinely don't remember writing that! :poorly: think I must have got confused with the poor video quality LUTV provide - though this could equally mean by judgement of the decisions wasn't that great either!!! It was a second yellow. 1 game ban back for Norwich
I did see that after I posted, mate, but couldn't be bothered editing!! The yellow was perhaps a little harsh, guy was falling over, but the first one for dissent was wholly avoidable. At least it's only a one game ban
