Re: Album Club Review - Sabbath/Manics

Had a listen to Lifeblood last night, and it became very clear very quickly why I had been ignoring it! Pretty bland album throughout, with no stand-out tracks. The fact that they had their guitar sound low in the mix, relying heavily on keyboards and synthesisers instead, doesn't help it in my opin...

Re: Album Club Review - Sabbath/Manics

I've owned a copy of Paranoid since the early 80s when a schoolmate (Snowy) gave me his copy before he moved to Australia (the idiot thought it wouldn't play down under !!). Anyway, my view of it then (as a 13yo) and now are a bit different. Paranoid and War Pigs are excellent, Iron Man is ok but th...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wed 20th Mar)

Morning Matt, Not heard of either of those two lads but, given how well the junior sides are doing, I'm happy to trust the club know what they're doing. Wise words from Farke, trying to lessen the inevitable pressure the players are feeling. I'd hope Bielsa is saying something to our squad. Whatever...

Re: Liam Cooper

Tbf i think most sensible fans can agree he has largely played well this season. Issue for me is like i said before he like others have been playing above there natural talent level, MB has got that out of him. Unfortunately there will come occasions where Liam reverts to what i consider his natura...

Re: Liam Cooper

The twitter keyboard warriors (arseholes) went to town on Liam after the game, usual 'never rated him' BS, so I'm pleased to see that hasn't happened here. Nobody will be more conscious than him that he had a bad game, loves this club and has been a brilliant captain on and off the field all season....
