Re: Forest v Leeds - Team/reports/ratings
Seem to have played 4-4-2 lately, but think we have a better team, better consistency and better options for 4-2-3-1. Green Ayling Bartley Cooper Taylor Birdcutt Viera Sacko Henandez Roofe Wood Roofe and Henandez not been at their best yet but in this formation they could shine. Dallas, Mowatt and A...

Re: JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW....
Hopefully someone is getting paid to be doing the job of finding these players. Look at some of the players in the top teams like in Boro, Derby, Burnley and Ipswich midfield and defence, English and not world beaters but experience, i.e leadbitter, keogh, chambers, arfield etc. All worth a few quid...

Re: JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW....
Any signings this month now need to be permanent with the aim of next season in mind or at least loan to make permanent. With the play offs gone no point in any loans. If, yes if, the Byram money is spent then we should try and get some experience championship players in now. 3 x one million pound s...

Re: JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW....
Gnarby, the Arsenal youngster has been recalled from his loan at West Brom to be loaned out to a championship club. We were linked with him last season, pacey winger if my memory serves be correct. Lafferty would be a good signing, surely he'd be wanting to get form before the euro's.

Re: Stuart Dallas, Taylor, Byram plus 1!
If Byram does leave then the money needs to be spent on a left winger, more adventurous right back and another number 9 type striker like wood. Which looks like being lafferty. If Murphy and cook can find top form they are good enough to play in the centre along with birdcutt.

Stuart Dallas, Taylor, Byram plus 1!
Think Dallas is our most creative midfielder when on form, but needs to be on the right with Byram behind him at right back. That means a left winger needs to be brought in during January to operate down the left with Taylor. This would give us quality and pace down the left and right flanks and sui...

Re: QPR v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings
Our best run of results and better performances in the last couple of seasons have come when we have put the extra men in midfield. We went 3-5-2 for a bit and last season as a 4-2-3-1 we had our best run. We have the players in the current squad that would suit both these formations. If we went win...

Re: Bristol City v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings
Would like to see us go back to the 4-2-3-1 system that did us well last year and brought some of our best performances. I unlike most can see some real hope in Woods and this would also suit him better with 3 behind him providing with more than he had to feed on so far. ............Silvestri Bearad...

Re: LEEDS UNITED TRANSFER RUMOURS + In's & Out's
How do wingers fit into his 4-3-3 formation that keeps getting mentioned! Personally think 4-3-3 is to similar to the diamond, with no really width, however last night he said byram and baradi looked good on the right so did they play 4-4-2? Surely 4-3-3 has 3 centre mids involved, now we're being l...

Re: Derby v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings
Defence gets so much stick, yet they have no chance when there is a 1man midfield in front of them. Cook didn't have is best game yet was the only noticeable midfielder last night. The other 3 were an waste of time, no passion, no skill, no drive, no bite and absolutely no self belief, look clueless...

Re: Derby v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings
Ditch the diamond, doesn't work and never has for us. Lets catch up with modern times and go with a solid yet attacking 4-2-3-1. Allow the defenders to concentrate on defending, a bit of protection in front with the 2 cen. Mids and this allows the attackers a bit of freedom. .....................tay...

Re: Forest v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings
Would be seriously consider starting with 5 at the back today, but not really in a negative way. Forest not on the best of form so would set out to frustrate them by trying to be solid, but then use the full backs to help hit them with width on the counter, with 2 up top and hopefully a bit more ene...

Re: Leeds v Wolves : Team/Reports/Ratings
Perfect chance to change things with doukaras suspension. Darko says we need to show more attacking intent, so play more attackers then! We do have the options so use them. A few have suggested the 4-2-3-1, and I have said for a while I think we have the players and squad for that system. Would brin...

Re: Leeds v Rotherham : Team/Reports/Ratings
The diamond needs to be banished and never seen again as a leeds united formation, hasn't worked for any of the last 4 managers. Sick of the full backs getting the ball in plenty of space and their best option being to pass it back to the centre backs. We have the players to fit perfectly into the m...

Re: Leeds v Rotherham : Team/Reports/Ratings
Looks like he diamond is here to stay under darko, shame really think we have the players to go 4-2-3-1. Would bring in warnock at lb, need natural left footer with diamond formation, berardi to rb, not sure byram back to his best yet. I would have doukara at tip of the diamond with sharp up top, ho...

Re: Leeds v Huddersfield : Team/Attendance/Reports/Ratings..
no idea on the starting 11 and for a change thats a good thing! not because i don't think we have enough quality but purely because there is several options and good options in each position. I'd be happy with either keeper but in recent games silvestri has made his mark and kept us in games. Defenc...

Re: Leeds v Watford: Team/Reports/Ratings
Had be thinking similar to the post above, making the most of the 3 centre backs and using wing backs. The only really width we seem to have is the full backs. Bri mc tried the diamond last season and it never worked so let's hope hock realises this soon. We seem to have several centre mids and stri...

10 goals for Norwich in 2 years, 3 goals for Leeds and 8 goals for Millwall last season..... yep quality........... :bear: if his movement can make space for the attacking midfielders and score 10+ goals the fair enough. anyway if u score to many goals for this team yr not a team player and we're b...
