Re: Chris Wood
I find it laughable when people moan about his missed chances. Find me the striker that doesn't miss chances ffs... Messi, Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic ALL miss chances too. The fact that they miss fewer than Wood is the reason they are world famous, hideously expensive players who we could never have a cha...

Wood gets my vote too. But for his comedy finishing it would have been Sacko.

Rob Green incident plea.
I can totally understand why Leeds United fans are fed up with Rob Green already. I was happy when we signed him, but almost evry goal we've conceded this season has been through him messing up and making mistakes. That said, apparently a Leeds fan ran onto the pitch after Huddersfield scored to hav...

Re: Pontus signs on loan
I think with this guy and Bridcutt on the field we should be much more secure at the back and able to support the attacking style that Monk wants to see.
Of course, I say think... What I mean is desperately hope!

Re: Leeds v Birmingham - Team News/Reports/Ratings....
So Monk says we are SOFT. This is an understatement we were powder puffs cotton wool, candy floss, fluffy nebulous clouds, eiderdown pillows. We had all the speed of a duvet, the softness of a swissroll, meringue like muscles... and tactical brains like soft sponges, jellyfish legs. The soft green ...

I've decided that Monk must have joined us straight from Xavier's School for the Gifted. His mutant power is breathing out sleeping gas during half time team talks.

Re: QPR v Leeds - Team News/Reports/Ratings....
Really? Antonsson chasing down lost causes, Roofe and Sacko running at defenders, Dallas running the full length of the pitch ending up 2 yards from the keeper making his clearance. We didn't get Bamba charging up the middle every 5 minutes I agree but I don't want that..and Wood moves like an oil ...

Re: QPR v Leeds - Team News/Reports/Ratings....
Lack of running, shameful ineptitude with the simple passes and our defenders seemed pretty much to be four individuals rather than a unit.
Still, it was always going to be about as tough a start as we could get. Time for Monk to start earning his pennies.

Re: Great article on Monk by Henry Winter
I really liked that article. It gives an insight into what we can expect to see and I was very impressed with the way he used his time out of the game.

Re: New Leeds transfer and head coach/manager rumours thread
If you wanted to leave your job to move to work somewhere else wouldn't you be p*ssed off if someone refused to let you go? I don't get why people think he owes us something? We trained him up yes, but not for his benefit, but for the club and in an attempt to get a first team player or a transfer ...

Re: New Leeds transfer and head coach/manager rumours thread
I am now very angry with Charlie Taylor's antics. He clearly has no feelings for the club that has taken him to this level in his game and quite frankly he can piss off to the premiership to waste his time sitting behind the dugout of whatever manager buys him and then never plays him. Charlie, bugg...

Re: Leeds United v Atalanta - match day thread
I agree with 64, Viera had a great game. Full of energy and some great tracking back. Roofe was impressive, Antonsson didn't get time to show what he can do really and our Italian trialist looked good enough, but nothing earth-shattering. My concerns were with Bamba and Diagouraga. Although both mad...

I'll be a lot more comfortable answering this after I've seen a couple of competitive matches under Monk.
