I think with this guy and Bridcutt on the field we should be much more secure at the back and able to support the attacking style that Monk wants to see.

Really? Antonsson chasing down lost causes, Roofe and Sacko running at defenders, Dallas running the full length of the pitch ending up 2 yards from the keeper making his clearance. We didn't get Bamba charging up the middle every 5 minutes I agree but I don't want that..and Wood moves like an oil ...

Lack of running, shameful ineptitude with the simple passes and our defenders seemed pretty much to be four individuals rather than a unit.

Still, it was always going to be about as tough a start as we could get. Time for Monk to start earning his pennies.

I really liked that article. It gives an insight into what we can expect to see and I was very impressed with the way he used his time out of the game.
