Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 9th July)

It's all a pity but it's what it is - time to move on.
The seeds of discontent were there to see under Monk the first time he ran into the crowd to celebrate. He's a hot-blooded, warm-hearted man who cares, but the indiscipline is often laid bare. Thanks Pontus, we have loved having you with us.

Re: Sell our Swede on the cheap.

This may be Pontus vs Marcelo, no matter who the architect is, and despite my liking for Pontus I'd take Marcelo.
We have unfinished business with him and his possible successor Corberan.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 4th July)

Regarding the newspaper coverage, I was acting manager of the Cross Keys pub in central Cleethorpes that day and the cops had visited every pub/club advising us not to admit football fans at all - we didn't, not even Grimsby Town fans. A couple of bouncers turned some away but there was no trouble, ...

I agree with your post weasel, with particular reference to paragraph 5 last sentence.
It's a difficult ask but a very worthwhile gain if achieved.

Let's hope for a bit of common sense all round and Roofe to remain where he ought (and needs) to be.

A few of us agreed on Klich the season before - definitely to be kept and cherished.
The clues were there against Burnley in the cup.

Guess the crowd vs Derby 15:00 Weds 15/5/19 - Champ Semi-final playoff 2nd leg

I thought, why not - it's a home game and it may need to go down for posterity.
I'll post the final tables for the season after the game.

Re: Chris Hughton sacked

I keep waiting for the axe to fall on Wornc*ck - I don't think he ever kept a team up and usually got fired towards the end of the first season after promotion.
Their win at scum might change that though.

Re: Stop Crying Frank Lampard

If memory serves Leon, weren't they a bit of a bogey team for several years.
My only points (and I'm with faaip here) are, don't crow until you're sure you aren't going to get trounced, and, quiet dignity and a smirk trumps anything else.

YorkshireSquare » Wed May 08, 2019 4:18 pm WTF is going on! Should I be worried if we don't concede 3 against Derby on Saturday now? Come on Adam - there's no other team for me but Leeds. However, I don't have the luxury of being able to watch Championship games so I watch quite a few EPL games a s...
