Seems odd to buy a player and then loan him out immediately
I agree, we made 30 deals to loan out players last season. For a club in the championship that just seems crazy to me. Alot of those were for players in their prime too not just under 23's

Re: Ouasim Bouy

It has been suggested that some of the signings might have been favours etc. Agents etc getting involved. Hope it isnt the case

Ouasim Bouy

He seems to be the only one left that is surplus to requirements. He must be on a good wedge to want to see his contract out. What do you do with a player like this? Stick him in the under 23’s? Make him train with the fitness coaches and keep him away from the team? Really is a bizarre one

PJ goes and we end up 10th at Xmas and Brentford are above us it definitely will happen.

Not saying that will happen but this is a "stick" as you say that the club would get beaten with (unless more quality arrives)
Chill out

Re: 2019/20 Transfer Rumours & Discussion Thread

Although I predicted us to finish third...... Oh & guess what :P We should go well again this season & with the current squad at our disposal we'd go up, lose a couple of our top players & that may put my prediction in jeopardy pending on who we bring in to replace them ! I agree 100% with this. Th...

Re: Jack clarke medical

Despite being 4 years older and showing nowhere near the level of pre illness Clarke? Clarke showed a few decent flashes off the bench and i must admit had me excited for a few weeks. But as soon as he started games he looked pretty useless. Just doesnt have the physical attributes in my opinion. I...

Re: Jack clarke medical

Really pleased with this deal. The only thing that surprises me is if he passes the medical. Something inst right with the boy and i don't think its just fitness. Constantly looks shattered and of course the episode on the bench, wouldn't be surprised if we hear something about that. Controversial o...

Re: Andrea Radrizzani and the ghosts of Chairmen past

I criticise him because he's made so many errors that will keep costing us. Increased the wage bill massively without improving the team, handed out 4 year contracts to squad players, why? Doesn't tie our young talent down though to the same length. Wastes money loaning expensive youth from the PL ...

This is personally how i would like the first team squad to look GOALKEEPERS Casilla - I think he isn't as bad as they say. The mistakes just came at bad times. Bailey Peacock-Farrell as Sub DEFENDERS Luke Ayling Lewie Coyle Liam Cooper Pontus Jansson + 1 CB Barry Douglas +1 Left back Sell/Release A...

Re: Player Profile : Kemar Roofe

Today's player Kemar Roofe Retain as one of midfielders next season ? Retain as a bench player ? Move on ? Rating out of 10 last season Retain - yes but as a striker. Would sell bamford and get a more powerful and mobile back up. He's a starter for me but needs a good alternative to battle with for...

Re: 2019/20 Transfer Rumours & Discussion Thread

I remember seeing Clarke come on as a sub and he played 30 min and was blowing hard, and looking knackered, and just could not track back, lost the ball continuously and I wondered what is wrong with the boy. Does anybody remember that, or did I just dream it? So glad it’s not just me Rab. I’ve sai...

We already had the 2 players that would have sent us up...

Twice this season we made huge mistakes that in my opinion cost us. I thought we had got away with the first which was allowing Ronaldo Vieria to leave. That role Phillips was playing was also suited to him and he would have been a perfect addition to this squad. The second and most costly was allow...

Re: Patrick Bamford

Have to hope the break has done Paddy good, he made a mistake and he is aware of that and apologised to the squad. He is at his best a very good striker at this level, even though he hasnt always been the main man and often has played as a number 10 and a winger his record is extremely good. 86 gam...

Re: Playoff Issue

Always thought the Playoffs are a flawed system. The idea is sound, but the way they are setup is wrong imo. There is no distinction or advantage based on finishing position. So you can have a side like us who have been top 2 most of the season who fade away and finish 3rd being beaten by a side wh...

I watched a couple of Swansea games, James is so influential & makes things happen, much more dangerous, pacier & clinical than Harrison I doubt any club will be spending £10m plus on Jack as oppose to Dan James come the summer wow you really don't like Harrison do you? lol I think to be fair to th...

12 people it would appear disagreed - The jury, made up of eight women and four men, deliberated for seven days before deciding to return a verdict of not guilty. In the end, they concluded that the evidence was not sufficient to be persuasive beyond a reasonable doubt. One juror said at the time, ...
