Re: Darko Milanic

Phil Hay or one of the other journos on twitter suggested that MC's preferred formation is 4-2-3-1, which is what Donnie had been playing at Sturm Graz recently instead of a 4-4-2 since he lost (injured? sold?) one of his main strikers.

Re: Darko Milanic

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but if he can rally the players as well as Redders has and get us into the play-offs this season, I wouldn't care what formation or style of football he gets the team to play.

Re: Antenucci....

I finally got to watch a game this season, and what a game it was. Antenucci is a definite asset up front. His pass to Bellusci was absolutely fantastic. Also, in his finish, he had the presence of mind to hit it into the ground so it would go over the defender. Very cool head. The one different fee...

Re: New Manager / Coach Rumours

That is probably one reason. However, MC has also said that he has had way too many applications and needs time to sort through them.

Re: New Manager / Coach Rumours

Steve Clarke is the only name being mentioned that I'd be excited about, and Adam Pope has just tweeted that sources close to Clarke have said he doesn't want the Leeds job.

Re: New Manager / Coach Rumours

I'm happy with the news actually. If there isn't anyone that MC thinks is suitable for the job right now, then Redders is a great choice in the interim. Plus, if things go downhill, it is safe to assume that it will push MC to appoint a new head coach quickly and let Redders resume his role at the a...

I hope so. For my money, he is definitely the best of the currently out-of-work managers, maybe tied with Pulis.

Re: New Manager / Coach Rumours

Although I am optimistic about our chances of doing well this season with the squad we've got now, I think it is fair to say that the most important signing of the summer is yet to be made. The next manager/head coach will be critical to our success. The concern I have is that any well-reputed Briti...

Re: Are we being fair on Hockaday?

I think most people are being fair. Hock is in a tough spot, no doubt, but unless he is an unintelligent man, he should have expected it to be this hard. I am not questioning the man's work ethic and/or his will to win, but the fact of the matter is that there is a reason not everyone is a top footb...

Re: O/T: The NFL thread with some baseball thrown in

The Bengals have made some good picks in the draft, and with Geno Atkins coming back, our defense will be even better than next year. Now, if only Dalton could get his act together....

I think the Seahawks are still favourites though.

Re: has anyone changed there mind yet?

Not sure why The Hock is being given so much grief? So far, he's done no worse than his predecessors, who also made plenty of tactical and substitutional decisions that left us all wondering if they were really at the same match. He's gotten a whole crop of new players, trying to implement a whole ...

Re: has anyone changed there mind yet?

I wouldn't say I've changed my mind. MC is pretty much what I expected - a passionate owner. However, I am feeling a lot more positive about the club being owned by someone that is passionate rather than someone who is not. Since he has taken over, he has said quite a few things that have improved m...

Read stories of him on the OS. Seems like he was not just a great manager, but a wonderful man and somewhat a father figure to a lot of the players.

Never seen him play, but it seems like he is a great signing based on everything I have read. 19 apps in the premiership this season! Good work SG!

Super late equaliser! Every twist and turn could be so vital come the end of the season!

13 matches to go....39 points for the taking!

On another note, great comeback by Scunny against the Blunts.
