Don't post on here anymore, and only just heard the news, but felt like this was the best place to remember him.

Re: Leeds v Sheffield Wed - Team/Reports/Ratings
not sure Beradi is a central defender but I'd go with a Byram Bellusci Bamba Beradi back 4 at a pinch and move Taylor up. Not ideal but I could live with it. I can't remember exactly where he can play- I just knew he played more than as a RB. I was sure I had read he could play anywhere across the ...

Re: Leeds v Sheffield Wed - Team/Reports/Ratings
Anybody blaming Cooper for their goal needs their head examining. Pefect run, perfect pass, perfect 1st touch, perfect finish. Do we always have to find somebody to blame - Just hold your hands up and say there was nothing we could do about that goal. Thank f**k for that. I was starting to think I ...

Strange_ I must be thinking of someone else. I'm sure I remember a thread from Twiggs saying he had died a few years ago. Or maybe I am getting my user names horribly confused. Think I must be.faaip wrote:MAMF is a waccoe Mod

Re: Leeds v Everton - Team News/Reports/Ratings
Strange trip today- I really didn't know what to expect. The new signings sound better than last year, in the main, so I was interested to see how they did. I expected us to play something resembling a full strength side, and presumed Everton would do the same. So I thought it would be a very diffic...

Re: LEEDS UNITED TRANSFER RUMOURS + In's & Out's
Are we taking bets on who'll be the first to post up "it's Cellino's fault" should young Sam leave LUFC  Allow me. OK, the statement is vastly overstated. However that does not mean Cellino is entirely without some responsibility. Lets look at it from Sams perspective and see ...

Re: Greatest Leeds starting 11 of all time?
I thought about putting Ferdinand in but he only played for us for two years and I felt Dom Matteo was just as good and also played for us for 4 years. Ferdinand was one of the best players I have ever seen in a Leeds shirt- far better than Matteo- but Matteo was always more "Leeds" than ...

I spent all last season arguing this.

Re: York City v Leeds United - Team/Reports/Ratings
Slightly surprising line up. Looks like 1st 11 v York, with the exception of Silvestri for some reason.
I would want my defence playing as a unit as much as possible.

Re: Bookies Relegation Odds
Always amazes me how people read bookies odds. They are simply a function of the amount of money laid by punters- the bookies don't care or even really think who will win/get relegated. If I had put enough money on Blackpool I could have had William Hills offering them odds on for winning last year.

I do feel a bit sorry for Murray. He is a decent player, but he is in an era of some greats of the game.

Re: Ashes 2015 who will win?....ENGLAND v AUSTRALIA 1st Test
Incredible first test, and a lot to learn. Firstly just how tiny the margins are- I think we would have seen a very different game had Root not been dropped in the first innings for 0. :-D Secondly, are the Aussies as good as we think they are? To be honest I thought they had a decent chance of maki...

Re: Cameron Stewart into Leeds for 800,000
Like I said before, the FL have to deem the contract valid for Stewart to get his money at the same time deeming it invalid having sent it back. They're basically saying the contract is invalid and the FL do not accept it, but we also deem it valid and threaten you with an embargo if you do not hon...

Re: Cameron Stewart into Leeds for 800,000
This is a legal dispute. Anyone who has been through a divorce knows you have to take the emotion out of it. Lets consider the facts. 1) We signed a contract and went back on it. This is unarguable. When Cellino refused to sanction the deal he must (should?) have had his lawyers look over it. They w...

Re: OFFICIAL SIGNED - NEXT UP SIGNING NO.5
Getting Woods is a decent sign that the management team are getting their act together. All the reports I read suggested he was heading to Wolves as his preferred option, but somewhere in the process someone has sold him on the club and we land him. This is a very positive sign for future high quali...

Re: Is Uwe Rosler the right man for the Leeds job?
In my opinion, yes I watched Brentford (long story) a few times about 2 years ago and I was very impressed with the side Rosler created. Wigan, he did a good job overall cup semi final and the play offs they sack him and within 5 months they get relegated. I am not saying he is my first choice, Nig...

Re: Wars on the cards... Isis threat!
I'm almost at the point where I'd send every member of ISIS on the great mystery journey to find their virgins. I'm not seeing a way of containing them or reasoning with them. Believe me, I find it difficult to say that sort of thing despite what they have done as it goes against everything I stand...

Re: Wars on the cards... Isis threat!
 I get closer with each atrocity to supporting the idea of sending in a million troops or so, including Muslims, from all over the world to wipe these vermin from our planet. That might finally be a message the lunatics could understand. Not only for our own peace of mind, but to give the real...
