Re: Dan James-DEAL IS OFF

Scored on his international debut today. Earned rave reviews vs Man City. We should have just paid the £10mil, permanent deal, not pished about with loans :( The way the market is we wont get much change from £20mil now and i dont think he is worth that. Would have made such a difference for us. Sa...

Re: Dan James-DEAL IS OFF

We may not have had 10M spare ... Plenty of dosh available for foreign television rights And where did the the £100 million (unsure it was that amount) come from to buy the ground ? Sometimes you have to speculate to achieve success, £10m would have been an investment on James but we wanted to pay ...

Re: The 'TALK ABOUT ANYTHING' Discussion Thread

Nearly 4,300 pages about Brexit on a certain Leeds United site That must be as boring read as listening to the politicians squabbling amongst each other :chair: For the last three years I have turned down the volume for the first ten minutes of any newscast I'm that fed up with it all  How fec...

Re: Leeds v Luton Town ??

64, I lived in Luton for a while, agree Kenilworth Rd was not the best place. In the 70's , had a decent team and played good football. They are looking to build a stadium near the centre of town. The last time I checked , local council was backing it. Short distance from train station. I still loo...

Re: What are you doing today ?

What stores do you use 64? I was never a fan of Tesco but they have really got their act together of late Superb fruit & veg section with brilliant offers on fresh produce as it should be, saved ourselves a fortune this year, we can buy twice as much F&V for the price we used to pay. Also fantastic...

Re: HORSE RACING CHALLENGE : NAP OF THE DAY

I did notice yesterday that the title was changed to a certain 4 legged Blackpool pleasure beach creature, not seen anything today. Perhaps that certain moderator should focus on getting his budgie cages finished before his lass gets a grip on him and gives him a painful horse bite inside his budgi...

Leeds v Luton Town ??

A fixture which is a distinct possibility in the 2019/20 Luton is a horrible place, the type of small ground we tend to struggle on We've been in the same league as them on a few occasions... we lost 5-1 to them the year we both got relegated to league one Says it all about how long we have been ped...
