Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 15th April) Leeds are falling apart - again

Judging by our corners not sure putting more crosses in is the answer I know Summerville has come in for some criticism of late but at least when he gets the ball he injects must needed pace that no one else offers Would love to see Gray turn in a couple of his Chelsea performance Anthony before Ja...

Re: General Chat

Sold a couple of things on ebay at the weekend and it turned out the buyer lived not far from where I work. So, rather than post I said I’d drop them off on my way home this afternoon. Went into his house and it was like a shrine to LUFC……..there was Leeds stuff everywhere. Anyhow, he mentioned tha...

Re: Striker selection poll

And what if Mateo has an absolute mare? the lad's confidence will be shot.

The only evidence our fans are going on is his goals in a cup match against Chelsea.

Remember what happened when Joffy started.

I pray for him if Joseph does start, that all goes well for the young man.

Since the start of March, Luke has the most open play assists of any player across the entire top four division in English football ---- 5 in all.

Re: Twat of the Week.

The other tactic was to deliberately try to take throw-ins from the wrong place so the ref has to move them back to waste more seconds. They should give the lino some of the shaving foam stuff. Then instead of touching the flag to the place to be taken, give it a squirt to mark the spot. If a playe...

My average rating for our first eleven works out at 68 which = an average rating of 6, which is about right imo!

Arguably, England's finest spin bowler Derek Underwood passed away, age 78. Slow left-armer Underwood took 297 wickets in 86 Tests between 1966 and 1982, the most by any England spinner. He claimed 2,465 wickets in 676 first-class matches overall, representing only Kent, the county of his birth, in ...

Re: Middlesbrough pre match chat

Time for DF to unleash Joffy in the run in :) I know it is not likely but Joffy has a track record as a big game player, someone who can keep his in those critical moments. Norwich, Wolves, Brighton are the three stand outs where his grit and determination and game awareness, coulpled with his skil...

As I said on another thread, perception and reality aren't the same thing. Bamford and Piroe took up the same positions (heat maps are basically identical) and not forgetting Piroe was in midfield for 30 minutes. https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1731945/Live/England-Championship-2023-2024-Leeds-Bl...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 15th April) Leeds are falling apart - again

Blackburn had three opportunities to score & caused chaos each time. Meslier makes a fine save from Szmodics. Roberts intervention to stop them scoring on the line, with the ball fortunately rolling into Meslier's hands. One punt up field from their keeper & our four defenders were all over ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 15th April) Leeds are falling apart - again

I am not convinced Gruev is our best defensive midfielder. He is tidy but he is not going to create anything based on what I have seen so far. We needed a goal, they had parked the bus. Under the circumstances I had no issue with Gruev going off. If he had been on the pitch - do you think we had mo...

Two home games and only one point against pretty average sides shows we can't handle the pressure of the run in.
I'll be flabbergasted if we manage to regain our mojo from here on.

Re: Middlesbrough pre match chat

It's Joseph or Piroe up front Because there isn't much difference between all three of them. At least Paddy got into the box for the Gnonto & Summerville crosses even though he didn't anticipate the opportunities, Piroe seems to be adversed to the six-yard box. We definitely need an experienced...
