Re: Club Badges/Crests

Looks religious, a rough hewn cross and nails plus the three crowns would suggest the three kings of biblical fame. Major city or former major city, with a cathedral maybe. Doesn't look like it would be York but that sort of thing. Winchester and Canterbury don't have league clubs so struggling a bi...

Re: Album of 1976 - NOMINATE NOW

Highly intelligent thought provoking poster with excellent taste in music ...has gone. We're left with Peter who started all this BS called the likes of us murderers and really adds nothing to this forum . I've bitten my "tongue" several times at his posts and not just over CV.. I'll continue to ign...

Re: Album of 1976 - NOMINATE NOW

Sorry but I disagree. As you are fully aware it was me and Peter who Sara let rip at . Are you saying my one post constituted extreme provocation? It wasn't abusive in any way, I stand by every word of it. Her retort was appalling tbh. For the record I didn't report her post unlike Sara herself who...

Re: What are you doing today ?

I'm not sure why they have a problem with couples shopping tbh. I know at Tesco they count people as they go in and when they reach a certain amount they stop anyone else entering until someone has come out, maybe it's for that reason and as Leon said yesterday if they both went in then the person ...

Deciding what I'll do about it tbh, you may have lost another poster. Wrong decision by a country mile.

Re: What are you doing today ?

Bloody stupid imo...just do what we started to do yesterday, split up and go in 5 minutes apart. I have to get my stuff and my partner, with my bank account shrinking daily (no wages since December and none looking likely) she has to pay

Re: Album of 1976 - NOMINATE NOW

Frankly I'm not happy, I'm assuming she was banned for that after extreme provocation imo...her retort fully valid imo. The best poster to go since we lost Riot in similar circumstances. Did Peter get censored too.

Re: Album of 1976 - NOMINATE NOW

Way too many of my favourite albums to get it down to one. TSRTS is a, albeit poorly recorded, masterwork. The Royal Scam is almost perfect. I'd really hate not nominating the Heartbreakers debut or Bostons debut ...Steve Millers wonderful Fly like an Eagle really should make this list. Boz Scaggs S...

Re: Mega Favourite Song Poll RD 29 - Norfolk to NOMINATE

Hopefully Gigantic does better than Debaser in the last poll...Maybe Kim's vocals will help. Gigantic is still my song of the decade for the 80's. THE most important band since the Clash and before that the Doors/Velvet Underground .

Re: What are you doing today ?

My Tesco is only allowing a certain amount in so probably same as the little old man's. If a couple go in they are both counted. I've had no problems so far, when I go I try to get there just after opening at 7 am. The aisles are all blocked off at one end and in some cases both ends are blocked of...
