Re: Album of 1985 - Billie Durly John Norfolk to NOMINATE

I struggled a bit with this as most of the albums I’d have nominated have gone so I’ll go for Prince “ Around the World in a day “

I could choose so many , but plumped for Dr Feelgood’s “ Down by the Jetty “ .

Fwank now gurning about Bielsa getting the Fifa award. No comment about his previous charges breaking the law though.
I didn’t realise it was possible to detest Lampard more than I already do , but I have to say , he has exceeded my expectations with this latest round of twaddle .

Re: The Bodyguard/Strangers/Killing Eve

Killing Eve season 2 on the whole was a big disappointment , not a patch on season 1 , and , dare I say , a bit boring . Not sure I’ll keep watching should a season 3 transpire .

This thread reminded me of that famous NME interview with Freddie Mercury in 1977 entitled “ Is this man a prat ? “ .

Re: Aston Villa v Derby

Wow , that Keith Andrews really is something else. He described Frank Lampard as “humble” . I must admit whenever I’ve had the misfortune to see or listen to Frank Lampard , the word “ humble “ isn’t one that comes readily to mind . There really are some utterly idiotic football pundits on tv and th...

Unfortunately we do it in more spectacular fashion Sara. But today for me) is all about that to**er Lamprd getting what he deserves after his pathetic whining over Spygate...absolutely nowt! Not to mention the pathetic players and their binocular celebrations! This . The sanctimonious one has got h...

Some great players there but wasn’t that the side that nearly got relegated the season after winning the title ?

Re: Man City v Watford - FA CUP FINAL

I used to watch Watford regularly in the late 60’s and early 70’s ( Barry Endean , Stuart Scullion , Mike Walker etc ) so I’ve got a soft spot for them and hope they win .

Re: Derby or Villa?

Can’t stand either club . Can’t stand Lampard . Can’t stand Smith . Can’t stand Terry . But to be able to laugh at Lampard not least for his wild celebrations in a pub as though they’d won the final , probably means I’d rather see Villa win . Sort of a choice between a root canal or a tooth extracti...

Re: Championship 18/19

I'll have to grit my teeth and hope it's Villa, if only so that the love-in for Lampard dies down sooner rather than later. It would be fitting for Keogh to cost them the game like he did in 2014. I've a horrible feeling they're going up though. I really do hope not . Lampard and co are still celeb...

Re: Championship 18/19

Not in the mood for congratulating Derby, I'm afraid. We gifted them that game, and both they and Villa have been graceless opponents this season. This . And the sight of Lampard celebrating last night is the stuff of nightmares. At least either him or John Terry are going to be massively disappoin...
