Re: Tom Lees

Making an error or two in front of your fans doesn't help, being openly blamed in the Press will certainly put a huge hole in a young player's confidence.

Re: Giuseppe Bellusci

I also have a great deal of faith in him, with the caveat that he does have a number of yellow and red cards in his makeup. When you are a defender like Bellusci, there are only a matter of inches between a brilliant tackle and a yellow or red. Also, while upset about Coyle, and the manner of his in...

Re: Leeds v Bolton - Team/Reports/Ratings

Typical Leeds fan mentality these days We ought to be overjoyed after winning our first league game in a while & should be singing our win from the rooftops Due to sad circumstances i missed my first home game in years. Thank god i go to games generally, its a sad state of affairs when fans can...

Like so many others, Ronan, I've been there too. It's a terrible place to be, and I don't envy you one bit. Gather your own family around you and take the strength they can give you. Best wishes my friend, our prayers are with you.

I've always liked this one, seen in the Gents many years ago, it goes something like this. To Do Is To Be - Sartre To Be Is To Do - Socrates Be Do Be Do Be Do - Sinatra Any body got a favorite or a funny one? On the door - "Let's play Bog Tennis.... Look left" On the left wall - "Loo...

Re: Financial statement.

Player sales are included in the figures, they have to be. They just weren't mentioned in the statement. Sheilds, I can only go on the Yorkshire Posts ( not the YEP as I said earlier) article, I'm assuming they check up on this sort of thing to ensure correct reporting, or am I being naïve? http://...

Re: Financial statement.

According to the YEP, player sales (including McCormack's sale) are not included in these figures. It does seem to me that Cellino has been doing a good job with the club, and elsewhere has said that now the club is on a viable footing, they can look at recruiting plyers for the next step. Don't go ...

Re: Fish/Seafood

I love most fish, but my personal favourite is Rock Salmon. You used to be able to get it in chippies Darn Sarf long time ago, but haven't seen any outside of a fish market for many years. It was actually Bull Huss, a small member of the shark family. Other honourable mentions are Woof and Catfish, ...

Agreed Leon, on a day when it was difficult to find a MoM, Bellusci just seemed that bit more passionate in a game where there was precious little passion on show.
