Re: Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 22 June)

Morning Gessa, didn't Watford turn down a ridiculously high offer for Deeney a season or two back? Memory gets clouded but somewhere in the back of my mind, I think Leicester offered £35m and it was turned down. Out of favour there now. Saw him at Walsall in his youth, good player then too, his dad...

Automatically adds the fixtures into your phone or desktop calendar. Just choose the correct calendar software and subscribe (it is free). Added bonus is that it updates automatically if a fixture is moved for whatever reason.

Thanks Gandalf.

Re: WORLD CUP progress

It's such a bloody shame Ges - the man's a genius but he can't seem to make it at international level. To give the man his due, he resigned from the Argentine team but came back anyway. There can be no greater demonstration of his wish to help his country but he just doesn't have the fierceness to ...

Re: Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 22 June)

Watford are prepared to listen to bids for Troy Deeney of around the same fee as Vydra, always was a thorn in our side. Could be another option up front.

Re: 2018 WORLD CUP - BRAZIL v COSTA RICA

I would not mind Ante Rebic up front for Leeds. PLays for Frankfurt, contract ends 30.6.18 I certainly can put himself about... built like Lasogga but does not run in treacle. Bullies everyone he comes in contact with. Class player. Ante Rebic Player profile I think a few clubs could be after him n...

Re: WORLD CUP progress

Argentina almost bow out of WC18. Messi is a brilliant, skilful player, but he doesn't seem to have, at international level, the wherewithal to take a game by the scruff of the neck and win a game for his country, like Ronaldo, Maradona, Pele, Puskas or Cruyff. I'm sorry to say this, but in my hone...

Re: 2018 WORLD CUP - ARGENTINA v CROATIA

What a mistake from Caballero the Argentine keeper, both keepers looking dodgy but that was an awful mistake, trying to be too clever.

Re: 2018 WORLD CUP - DENMARK v AUSTRALIA

It's possible that Spain and Portugal could end up with identical records in their group. I believe there is some sort of tie-breaker (well there has to be really) in that case. Has anyone heard/read/seen any mention of which of the two are ahead in respect of the tie-breaker? From the bbc site, i ...
