Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 19th July)

I think I've give up on potential signings, just going to wait and see what happens. You wouldn't think Phillips as a natural player for the back 3 system, the only way to see is try it, which if it is the case, should be tonight, for 1 half at least. Looking more and more unlikely there will be mor...

Still got my skateboard, although less adventurous, and certainly not as agile. As long as your balance is sufficient to hold a full pint glass, your doing fine matey

I can hold one in both hands simultaneously, the perfect balanced diet.

Throwing Copper is played here a lot too as is, Mental Jewelry, now theyve reformed they are supporting Counting Crows, hoping they bring the tour over here, having seeing both bands twice, Live were the better of the 2.

Without You I'm Nothing is one of my favourite Placebo songs.

Re: The Music Discussion Thread - Your favourite BEIRUT albums

I've a mate who hadn't bought an album since the early 80's, was into his Whitesnake, Iron Maiden etc at that time but grew out of it and never found anything else, became a talk radio type of guy. One morning a few years back he came to my house to do a job and as it happened I had the TFCC playing...

Re: The Music Discussion Thread - Your favourite BEIRUT albums

For music to have an impact on me, I know when that 'flutter' of excitement suddenly hits, then the soar of emotion and then having to listen to the whole song because I can't not listen to it....that just happened  ............that first song is just so brilliant, I just had to listen to al...

Re: Forest Green Rovers v Leeds United

So disappointed that the ambition of getting in likes of Vydra and/or Hernandez has dwindled and we are seemingly back to looking at bargain basement signings again. Does make you wonder, these names were being thrown around, the same time that there was a season ticket promotion, they wouldn't, wo...

Re: Forest Green Rovers v Leeds United

I never understand these kind of friendly preseason games, if you win 5-0 it was expected, if you don’t it can raise criticism. Sure I get it is about raising fitness levels but you can better do that playing a team of equal quality. I’m not going to read too much into the first 2-3 friendlies, we’...
