Re: Is Heck slowly turning us around ?

Sorry haven't seen any improvement yet. Only played fairly well for part of the game yesterday and to tell you the truth, looking a Bristol City I don't know how the are so high in the table, Evidently they are on the downward slide, with a poor record over the last 8 games, though Not as bad as us.

Re: Leeds v Bristol City - Team/News/Reports/Ratings....Sunday 4.30pm

A decent goal poacher would have slid that opportunity into the net Too many times over the last couple of games where our players have stood around ball-watching & not anticipated situations Blunts first goal O'Kane too slow to react to the penalty incident City's Diedhiou allowed three touches & ...

Re: Leeds v Bristol City - Team/News/Reports/Ratings....Sunday 4.30pm

Bit harsh imo. Showed good strength and pace to set up the Dallas chance 1st half. . Was a fraction late to Hernandez's cross ball. Seen worse striking performances, just wish he'd score, do him the world of good. Sorry, I forgot about setting Dallas up - mea culpa. Now that I remember, the match c...

Re: Leeds v Bristol City - Team/News/Reports/Ratings....Sunday 4.30pm

Wiedwald 4.5 - made some good saves in the second half after a poor first half Anita 5 - good on the ball but struggled defensively Pennington 4.5 - a bit better in the second half after a poor first half Jansson 5/5 - like most improved a bit in the second half after a poor first half, unlike his d...

A much improved second half performance gets us a deserved draw.

Re: Leeds v Bristol City - Team/News/Reports/Ratings....Sunday 4.30pm

Our hope is that one of the oldest sayings in football is that 2-0 is a very dangerous lead (though better than losing of course). One goal - even a lucky one can change the pattern of the game. Fingers crossed.

Re: Leeds v Bristol City - Team/News/Reports/Ratings....Sunday 4.30pm

Awful first half from us. 1st Goal: Hopeless punch from Weidwald (who got away with one earlier) but even then the Bristol player didn't control the ball properly. And as he brought it under control not one single Leeds defender took one step in his direction to close him down. 2nd Goal: Poor markin...

Re: Who's going to the match tomorrow?

Don't forget to be good and to stay seated throughout the match (as per the rules), and definitely no going to the loo unless it's before the match, after the match or during the half-time break.

Re: Las Vegas/Now mass murder in Texas

The "usual" response is already occurring. Marco Rubio, one of the senators for Florida, has come out offering prayers and condolences for the victims. Meanwhile he apparently has accepted donations of 3 million dollars from the NRA, the powerful pro-gun lobby. Makes me want to puke. So typical, th...
