Yeah Barnsley and Oldham were our real bogey sides at that time. At least to some degree the pressure is off for us as a draw wouldn't be the end of the world and even a defeat would still leave it in our hands.
Yep, Oldham too.

Re: Last time we played Barnsley on our way to winning the 2nd division title

In our spell in Division 2 in the 80s we couldn't beat Barnsley for love or money. We had a terrible record against them for some reason or another.

From memory that was our only home loss all season.

I would be tempted to put Douglas in at left back and move the utility man Dallas
Into the defensive midfielder role. He could do a Kalvin. And leave Ben White in the back four
Where he has been outstanding all season.
That's what I'd do, and I think Bielsa will do too.

That is a relief to know we don't have to sign JKA if he is injured. Luckily Robinson has read the contract and has the legal training to understand the reality.

Never really threatened all hoof, huff & puff Harry

PNE could have played all night & not scored, they don't deserve a play-off place just a average mid-table side
Really. I didn't see any of it, just saw the score and the time of the goal.

Oh well guess we'll just have to beat Barnsley now.

since when did it become the norm to have a new kit every season? (around 2010 ish?) So frustrating that if you don't buy a kit at the start of the season you've basically only got the "current" shirt for a few months
Three new kits every season. Home, away and other.

Re: Today's Games

but we could very easily had scored more against stoke, and this is a team that won both their game before and their game after But we didn't because they fought hard defensively. We also scored a very late. The scoreline reflected our dominance but not Stoke's fighting to keep the score down. Hull...

Re: Today's Games

Before we beat the Swans on Sunday I was hoping for a West Brom win against Fulham, just to get rid of one of the chasers. Wanting to secure promotion and then worry about the title.

But now I'd prefer a Fulham win - or maybe a draw.

Would love Preston to get a point at Brentford too.
