Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 15th April) Leeds are falling apart - again
You do realize any player can get a muscle injury at anytime... and especially if you dead on your legs, Gray probably was at the biggest risk of injury, still is. Paddy has had a number this season alone, why did we risk bringing him on coldish? I don't think Gnonto indicated his hammy was tighten...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 15th April) Leeds are falling apart - again
Farke has completely sidelined Cresswell, what makes you think he'd suddenly change his mind next season? My point was based on us not being able to get Rodon again next year if we diddn't go up. So we'd be losing a defender who has had a great season but if we replaced him with a defender not as g...

Good god that Weasel is a politician, I’m sure of it. He could argue the sky is green & the grass is blue. In fact I’m already starting to doubt whether that might be true. And he hasn’t even put his case forward yet :roflmao: If someone has their head up their ar$e then the colour of the grass...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 15th April) Leeds are falling apart - again
There's no glaring weaknesses in this squad... but I do know you tend to blame players before managers whereas I'm the opposite. . Players are only as good as their manager... I will blame the manager where I feel the manager is the weakest link. I did that with Heckingbottom and Marsch and likewis...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 15th April) Leeds are falling apart - again
I am happy to accept that taking Gruev and Gnonto off was a fitness or injury prevention thing. Both have just come back form injury and they have those things monitoring the players and showing when they are going into danger zones. I would think taking Gnonto off falls into that category as I am s...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 15th April) Leeds are falling apart - again
You can't be serious? This is as good a squad as he will get at this level ffs. Why are people so desperate to make excuses for him? He's literally got 3 members of the Championship team of the year, the player and young player of the year. Italian international wingers, Welsh international wingers...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 15th April) Leeds are falling apart - again
Thing is logic flies out the room this time of year. Liverpool battered Palace & lost 1-0. First game they’d won since the very first game of Glasners tenure. Villa bossed Arsenal 2-0. Bristol City beat Blackburn 5-0. Zero logic. I’m not inclined to try and find it anymore. Hopefully Boro sees ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 15th April) Leeds are falling apart - again
Id say he does, this is a freak season with the top 4 being so dominant for so long and as you say it is hard to see it replicated next time. Under Farke we have scored the goals and won us the points that would ordinarily take us up. He was handed a 4 year contract and imo the owners would be craz...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 15th April) Leeds are falling apart - again
Your not really making an argument for Farke though are you, it's more of an apologetic excuse with no real feeling.. Yes subs had to be made, but you don't sub for sub sake with no consideration for what comes next... If it were a chess game Farke swapped his queen and rooks for three pawns And ye...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 15th April) Leeds are falling apart - again
Not sure why making the subs ultimately lost the game Had to change it up at some point as things were not working and he still retained a back 4 which should have been more than comfortable to cope with any threat People saying 1 point would have been Ok Surely not before the game and only with th...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 15th April) Leeds are falling apart - again
In perspective these last 3 matches were against 3 sides that we struggled against first time around. We took 1 point this time compared to 4 points from the same 3 fixtures first time around - the big difference being that we beat Blackburn first time around but it was a game where perhaps the scor...

Re: Today's Games
From the Beeb. Adam Forshaw's superb pass from midfield sprung Bundu down the left wing and the Sierra Leone forward cut inside and found the bottom corner as Wout Faes stood off him. The beeb's usual standard of inept reporting. The pass was woefully overhit forcing Bundu out a lot wider than he n...

Re: Sunderland - Post Match Discussion
The main trouble for me against Sunderland was that we only had 2 potential scorers on the pitch, Summerville and James. Bamford as we know is a streaky striker, scores stuff like 7 in 9 matches but then goes the same amount of games without scoring. He is in one of his drought periods now. Rutter i...

Re: Leeds Utd v Sunderland Match Thread
Bamford is doing what Bamford does, not sure why people are knocking him for it. He has always been a streaky player, capable of greatness and equalyl capable of glaring misses. He isn't a different player to the player he was a few matches ago, the only difference was he was scoring. He could just ...

Re: Leeds Utd v Sunderland Match Thread
Waited a couple of days to post as I was so disgusted by the management and whole team. I think clearly the team is playing with too much fear and are being strangled by the manager's rigid system. For me the only logical solution is to ditch the manager and play all our U18 side who showed no fear ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 5th April) U18's Reach Cup Final After Edging Past Lions
Strange how the BBC did the big feature on Millwall's under 18s reaching the semi as if it was a huge thing for a championship side to reach the semi. It then turns out 3 of the 4 clubs in the semis were from championship clubs.

Re: Premier League debate
Yeah his reputation is a bit inflated. Did well at Saints but they seemed to be on the up when he went there. Did well at Spurs but should have won the league in the season when Leicester did bot bottled it - with Leicester winning the title it shows that that season it was more about City, Liverpoo...
