Re: England International Matches
Yuck. I'm a huge cricket fan. Before I moved to the States, cricket was my first sport. Slipped down behind footie since nobody plays it here and I don't get to follow as closely. I have full access to the IPL and absolutely despise the thing. Can't stand that it's made mercenaries out of cricketer...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 28th March) Surgery rules duo out for remainder of season
Hoping for a bloodbath and red card frenzy in the hardfought out draw between Saints and Ipswich. Not overly bothered, a win for Ipswich really piles the pressure on Leicester, whereas if Ipswich lose the pressure on Leicester eases. I do think that Leicester, out of the top 3, are most likely to cr...

Re: Joe Rodon
Credit to Farke. Except I think he needed a bit of time. Remember him dropping him after he'd served his red card ban. In fairness, I don't think we all realized how good Rodon was until after he came back from that suspension. In fairness to Farke we had kept a clean sheet in the match that Rodon ...

Re: Mateo Joseph Fernandez
Mateo looks like he might be solving any future questions about our first choice number 9. Still think he needs a bit of time and that Bamford is the answer to finish this season. But I could see him leap frogging Bamford next season. If we're in the PL, I envisage Bamford starting with Joseph on t...

Re: Mateo Joseph Fernandez
I'm not sure if you were joking. Maybe I'm stating the obvious in that it was an 88th minute winner. Didn't realise it was an 88th minute winner when I posted - it does account for the level of jubilation. Although equally I have seen players celebrate goals before without celebrating with the scor...

Re: Today's Games
Yes I think that’s correct. Uncle Bulgaria won the mixed doubles with Navratilova if memory serves. You are very much mistaken, it was in fact with Mr T. I pity the fool who doesn't remember that epic final. Joe Johnson partnered Martina to Olympic success later in the century just two minutes befo...

Re: Today's Games
Well spotted, it was a deliberate error to see who was paying attention. As we all know Wimbledon became the MK Dons in early 1944 leaving Great Uncle Bulgaria in somewhat of a tizzy. Some would say he found it seriously hard to move on.

Re: Today's Games
Well at least we can get back to the important sutff now. Don't have to watch Southgate ruin the England team or feel compeeled into wanting Wales to win cos we have some welsh players. As the great Tennessee Williams said, before sinking the winning putt to win Wimbledon in 1944, 'We all live in a ...

Re: Today's Games
Just about the worst possible in terms of the Leeds lads. Rodon and Ampadu playing both full games, Dan missing the penalty and Roberts getting injured. Hopefully they can bounce back and be celebrating at the end of the season (or 4 games from the end when we clinch the title).

Re: Today's Games
I'm not even watching it Weasel, it makes me puke 🤮 I'd rather cheer the Taffs on. Watching England under Southgate makes me remember how lucky we were to have Bielsa andhow lucky we are to now have Farke. Bielsa - Take a fairly s**t group of players and turn them into a much better side far better...

Nice to see England in their traditional colours....
Ridiculous how we are simply a set piece side under Southgate.

Re: Pick a wildcard
Pablo. He provides the intelligence, control and vision in midfield that we don't quite have, and which would make this team even more deadly. Raphinha is perhaps the more individually gifted player, but we already have strength in the area he covers. Pablo brings more to the team. What she said.

What was the plan they had with him? Start 1 match in every 10 played and a few sub appearances. Baldrick had better plans.

Yeah should hope so as well. You wouldn't want him getting into trouble like Rod Stewart did when he filled in pot holes near his home.
He probably has a decent alibi anyway as likely he was in a different country at the time farming underage goats.

Re: The King
The only idea I’ve got is this. I have zero interest in the Royals. The most uninteresting people that I could ever think of. In her swarmy bench seat statement it’s fairly clear she was told to mention the “others suffering from this terrible disease”, load of old bollocks. I’d vote to get rid of ...
