Re: Neil (know it all) Warnock

That would be the same Warnock you regularly praised until you eventually saw through his shiny invisible clothes. Remember you praising how good we had become defensively and then we conceded 7 at home. Am sure Warnock is happy to talk about anything to deflect from his terrible record in the premi...

Christ you'd really want us to be taken over by that company - sound like a bunch of f*ckwits. Would prob sack Bielsa and hire Paul Heckingar$e

Re: Radz being sued for £750m by Chinese investors?

Reading that it sounds like the Chinese have created their own problems. Losing key staff, appointing three separate CEO's since takeover, and losing the Serie A rights under their own ownership, probably due to the first two points. TV Rights deals don't just fall into your lap. Indeed. Deffo soun...

Re: Jack Clarke- Get Your Boots On

Yes having Clarke back, Roofe back, Brown fit, Bogusz acclimatised to the Bielsa way and suddenly our bench looks pretty good. Just think every match we can bring one of those 4 on after Douglas and Dallas have come on.

Re: The Early #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 18th Mar)

I must admit to being a bit worried with the PJ stuff prior to the match, biggest game etc, and was worried that we might have thought it was job done if we'd beat Sheff Utd and then have a Monkesque slump. We win our next match and they lose and it is back to how it was before the Sheff U game but ...

Re: The Early #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 18th Mar)

PJ isn't particularly good in the air when actually competing against someone. He is good when no one is around and when he is able to run and attack the ball, excellent in the zonal system that Monk used when he didn't have to mark but could just attack the ball. RE Brown there is a huge difference...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 19th Mar)

Millwall Manager Neil Harris has been talking to the press about the forthcoming Leeds game following being knocked out of the Cup by Brighton! “The biggest game of the season by far, miles bigger than today, is Leeds away in two weeks’ time. “We’ll enjoy the break, enjoy the rest. We’ve got five g...

Re: The Early #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 18th Mar)

I dont think Bielsa rates Brown, really dont, i watch him for the u23s and while clearly talented he is lazy, if you watch him for the u23s you can see why Bielsa wouldn't play him. Compare him to Bogusz who runs around like an absolute lunatic, that may seem inconsequential to us but to Bielsa he ...

Re: High & Wide.....

A lot of our players simply lack power in their shots - as well as iffy technique. A 30 yard pea-roller isn't going to score either or a shot on target, regardless of height, with no power. A Yeboah or Hasselbaink type striker and we'd have walked this league.

Re: The Early #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 18th Mar)

Sometimes you strength can be your weakness. With Bielsa I detect that. He has a system. It works we know that. But being so convinced that IT WILL ALWAYS WORK is a weakness which will needed to be overcome if we are to succeed going forward, I feel that Brown not getting a proper run in the side r...

Re: The Early #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 18th Mar)

When you look at the performance of the Blades forward line of ex Leeds flop Billy Sharp (23 goals), free transfer David McGoldrick (12 goals), and one season sensation Scott Hogan (3 goals) - would any of these players have got any game time, let alone a place on the bench at the start of the seas...

Re: Pontus Injury update

Agree Rat  I suspect Bielsa will play Phillips alongside Cooper with the average Forshaw returning in the DM position Bielsa started the season with Berardi & Cooper with KP sat in front of them rather than KP in defence so that would suggest Berardi is above KP on the centre back pecking order.

Re: Still hopeful we'll achieve automatic promotion ??

Play-offs is a lottery but equally a lot of the time the best team will go up because they are the best team. However it is not always the 3rd placed team that is the best team, a team that finishes 6th for example might have been missing key players and have them all back for the play-offs, the tea...

Re: Liam Cooper

Just a simple miscontrol for the goal, if Bamford, for example, miscontrols the ball further up the field nobody notices, just on this occasion Cooper was last man. However it is the risk that comes with playing the Bielsa way as if he simply lumps it out of play all Sheff Utd get is a throw in.

Re: Still hopeful we'll achieve automatic promotion ??

Turn the QPR loss into a win in the last 15 matches and we'd have averaged more pts over our last 15 matches then the season average - so it isn't like we are miles behind the overall season average over the last 15 matches. Not like we have dropped from 2pts per game over the season to something li...

Re: Ayling/Klich/Harrison = Douglas/Dallas/Clarke

Just remember that game where we were 2-0 down, on Sky, playing sh*te against either Brentford or Bristol I think. Midway through second half the dans started swirling the scarves singing the songs - made it a belting atmosphere even if it did seem a little bit of a p*ss take at the time. The Leeds ...

Re: Ayling/Klich/Harrison = Douglas/Dallas/Clarke

1) So why did Brown, Bogusz, Shackleton & Clarke have to play so much time in a U23 cup game if they were being considered for arguably one of biggest matches of the season? 2) Operating with just two strikers all season was always a massive risk, not prolific ones too, as is the case with our CB's...

Re: Still hopeful we'll achieve automatic promotion ??

Losing important games because you fail to take your chances and give away soft goals is choking in my book. Pressure gets to the players, at this stage of the season you need a cool head and to take chances when they come, we dont do that, Blades did yesterday. If players are missing chance after ...
