Re: Concerning Transfer Policy

Tricky is putting it mildly in terms of how to come up with a transfer strategy in the position we are in. To improve any position in the team means either 1) buying a proven (expensive) player that is better than what we have, 2) buying a player with potential (cheap) and hoping they turn into the ...

Re: Player Profile : Tyler Roberts

I would retain him, deffo has potential but at present would be a squad player rather than a starter as in the role he was in, the no.10 he didn't produce enough goals or assists. At present he still has to fulfill his potential so probably wouldn't be worth much more than we paid for him.

Re: Player Profile : Mateusz Klich

Deffo keep him. For me he is more important than the 3 players that we could sell for big money (KP, JC, and PJ) but we would likely only get a fraction of the type of money they would bring in if we were to sell Klich. As such doesn't make any point selling him. I would like to see him get more goa...

Re: Bailey Peacock-Farrell

And still our fans want to knock young Bailey.....why? Because a comical post was posted about Kiko? Tit for tat maybe? Who can find the best videos of our (OUR's remember) keepers mess ups? I make no wonder the kid wants to move away from Elland Road.......However, I do agree with some of the comm...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 14th June)

Kalvin Phillips is desperate to stay at Elland Road, and wants to sign a new contract, according to Leeds pundit Noel Whelan! “I know Kalvin is desperate to stay at Leeds. I’ve spoken to his agent, who told me he’d love to stay at the club. There is no hiding that. The club need to put their money ...

The goals conceded by BPF this season.

Worryingly I would say at least half of those you would expect a decent keeper, i.e championship level, to save. Good save v Belarus though,

Aston Villa are in the process of bidding 14m for Kalvin Phillips. The 23yo is believed to be one of Dean Smiths top targets! Who'd be up for selling our prize midfielder, and at what price? I have already said I would sell KP if the price was right - we need money to strengthen and for me he is ea...

Re: Key Man Departs

To be honest I lost a lot of respect for him with the way he reported and kept referring to 'Spygate' as Spygate. Writing for Leeds fans he should have not referred to it as Spygate. He also then showed his ignorance for understanding football by still blaming Casillas for the first Derby goal. Most...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wed 12th June)

Hard to separate these three, First two had a bit if class imo and were worn by great sides. The third has a sentimental value attached to it as it was bought by my Dad just before he passed away. 1. Admiral 1992 2. Strongbow 2002 3. Thistle Away 1993. Admiral 1992 was worn by the side that finishe...

Re: Player Profile : Pablo Hernandez

Pablo Hernandez Retain as one of midfielders next season? 100% retain. Great season for Pablo goals and assists, looked a little off the pace in the last few games but that was to be expected - although the calls to rest him are easier to make in hindsight as in reality until automatic promotion be...

Re: Bailey Peacock-Farrell

Bizarre - a 3 minute clip of goals conceded by our keeper for another team and only 1 goal was by an error by him - where he passes to the opposition player. As for the rest those are just shots that as a keeper sometimes you save sometimes they go in especially when you are spreading yourself - non...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 11th June)

During the recent qualifier against Estonia, who was more at wrong? Bailey Peacock Farrell or the wall? Either way it is BPF at fault - he sets the wall so if the guy can curl it round the wall and into the net then the wall isn't set properly. It wasn't like the shot went through the wall. The wal...

Re: Player Profile : Kalvin Phillips

It isn't just about whether you rate KP or not. We need to sell to buy players, or so we are led to believe. As such if we don't sell anyone then we have the same squad as last year and is that going to be good enough to win promotion? To improve the side will need money - as such we seem to have 3 ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 10th June)

Cultural Leonesa have made an official approach to Leeds for Under-23s coach Carlos Corberan! Maybe not a bad thing, let him manage a full side and if he does well then hopefully he will want to come back if/when Bielsa leaves. The EFL have passed a new rule preventing a repeat of Spygate: "No club...

Re: Bailey Peacock-Farrell

Don't get me wrong Whiteswan I would love BPF to be a fantastic keeper for us but he is repeating the same mistakes and that is a huge worry. Keepers usually don't peak till mid to late 20s as it is far different to outfield players due to the amount of time they are simply stood still. BPF might be...

In some ways wouldn't be a bad thing for him to make a step up in his career to being a manager of a first team and if he does well then hopefully he would still be interested in coming back to the Leeds hot seat after MB retires.

Re: Bailey Peacock-Farrell

He has 20 yards to see it, 20 yards with nothing in his line of vision, no players that could deflect it, he could dive from his starting position and get to it but he has a weird way of moving in which he is almost crumbling to the floor before he dives so he doesn't get any real spring on his dive...

Re: Bailey Peacock-Farrell

The goal conceded was reminiscent of many last year where he just didn't seem to get to shots he should have. The Estonia player passed the ball into the next from the free kick and BPF went down slower than the Titanic. It was woeful keeping and like Cjay says he really does have a problem from lon...

Kalvin Phillips Retain as our DM next season? A very tricky one - has he reached his ceiling? Could we get a better player for the position with the money we'd get? If sacrifices have to be made in order to strengthen other positions is it a sacrifice worth making considering how much he could brin...

Nothing to do with injury The Scots obviously think Cooper is not good enough at international level even though the current Scotland squad is one of the worst ever in their history Take him away from Bielsa & he would be distinctly average The Scotland manager said that Cooper had an injury.
